Dewdrop is neither tolerant nor does he care about the opinions or feelings of others.

The exception is of course his packmates, but even with them he often goes too far. He gaslights others and is actually a walking red flag in relationships. He can be very toxic. For example, when he and Rain argue, he often gaslights Rain until he is convinced that he is to blame. He constantly orders Aether around and treats him and Rain like his toys. He usually takes his bad mood out on Phantom or, if he is not around, on Rain. The only people he leaves alone with this toxic crap are the ghoulettes, Swiss and Mountain. Swiss mainly because he contradicts him.

Dewdrop is not always like this, he can also be loving and caring, but most of the time he is not.

He’s so cocky and confident, no one would’ve guessed this bold new guy has never been fucked before ESPECIALLY with how often he flirts with Dew and Rain

Now imagine Aether and Mountain deciding to knock him down a peg because they’re both possessive bitches and he’s been getting a little too close with Dew. They corner him in Mountain’s room and it’s their intent to break him in, maybe it’ll also calm him down. All that new summon energy is a lot.

But ohhhh then they actually get him in there and he just freezes. It clicks for Aether first. This is so much better than what they had planned. Mountain and Aether coo so softly while they touch him. Haven’t even gotten him all the way undressed and he’s blushing so pretty.

They open him up nice and slow so that he can learn what it feels like. But then they pull back. They tell him to prep Aether. He’s so shaky and nervous while he does it, but he talks him through it in a sickly sweet voice. Swiss figures that’ll be it, Mount and Aeth will go at each other and he’ll get to watch but oh no do they have a better idea. Swiss gets to fuck Aether. Make him put his money where his mouth is. He nearly cums when he pushes into him, fuck it’s so much better than his hand.

They let him mindlessly hump away for a little before Mountain comes up behind him. He presses close to Swiss, sucks a mark right behind his ear as he bends him overtop of Aeth.

This was all learned behavior because it's what got him the attention he craved, any sense of being useful, cared about even if it was only because his body was useful

Aether, Mountain, and Dew stayed with the band, Zephyr never spoke to him, Mist was long gone to be with the lake.

Ifrit used to be the most caring, lovable golden retriever there was.

Now a days he's nothing more then an old dog owned by a family long since grown.

Thinking about Aether teaching Phantom about the space race, and about the animals we sent into space before we sent people.

Phantom would would absolutely sob at Laika's story, relating almost too deeply to her. Abandoned by humanity and cast into a wild dark unknown, all while holding onto hope for so much more. He would go out at nights and sit on the opposite side of the courtyard from Aether, not to disrupt his own prayers to the stars.

Phantom would search the sky each night for Canis Major, before spilling his heart to the stars. The first time he did, he realized why Aether would go out and convene with the great beyond each night. The catharsis, the tears, the ability to share all of you with something far greater. Watching the stars twinkle, as if in response to the cries and pleas you make. The blinking, almost like Morse code, that told you it was all going to be okay. That you had no other choice.

Ghoul packs have the same hierarchy scale as hyena packs.

Every outsider thinks Aether is the leader of the band's pack.

Nope.

It's Cirrus, closely followed by Cumulus.

If anything, Aether is intimidated by the pack leaders. He'd never admit this, though.

Update from the ghoul pile: I’m on top of mountain now (very comfortable) but Swiss keeps putting his feet on dew and dew is screaming about it.

So the Clergy made fire the lead because fire and light is Lucifer. That’s also why quintessence is rhythm (stars and space and shit The Morning Star do you see my vision?)

Anyways, so outside of like stage stuff they still have fire and quint as like the leaders of packs in their minds. Fire being the highest. So like if they need something of the pack they’ll go to fire first.

After Dew’s body recovered from the transition he had no idea how to be a leader. He tried to copy Ifrit for a while because Dew thought he was amazing. It just wasn’t him though. That combined with how harsh the newly summoned Cirrus was since she was the leader of her pack in the Pits, Dew kinda slinked off to the side and let Aether handle everything.

And then Aether announced he was retiring from touring to take over the nursery so Omega could focus solely on the infirmary. Now he was the most experienced one. Now he had a newly summoned Phantom who froze and floundered every time he was asked to make a decision on literally anything. At least Cir wasn’t trying to fight him this time.

He always thought if anyone was the leader of their pack it was Cirrus and Mountain. Unfortunately the Clergy refuses to accept that response whenever he shrugs off their meetings. He’s just scared to make these technical decisions because what if it’s the wrong one?

Lead guitar is fun and he loves it but what he doesn’t love is being dragged into meetings about the state of the Ministry and “Could we get some ghouls on this job? Who do you think is best suited?”

He’s thankful Omega still attends those meetings. He’s glad Omega can actually make decisions. He wants Phantom to have a good role model and he’s convinced he’s the last person he should try to emulate.

How does ghoul courting I guess you call it work? Like how does it usually look like?

Ghoul courting I think would be a mix of human courting and more animalistic practices. Showing you can provide mentally, emotionally, physically. Showing you can protect your mate and cubs, showing off your appearance, your strength, your assets.

If you can't provide then why have cubs? It's very important. And in Hell cubs and their mothers are very vulnerable, the pack and the courting male need to show their desire to protect and provide. If the female is from outside the pack then the pack also needs to court her in a way to show they will accept her as well.
