in terms of kdramas I actually think it's okay to not be okay explores trauma with much more depth and nuance, but it focuses on complicated family dynamics and family abuse rather than school violence. still I think it's overall a lot more emotionally powerful

#I never finished extraordinary attorny woo 😔 I don't think the netflix kdramas tend to appeal to me visually #aesthetically they all seem very polished and sleek and look really ummm well funded. makes me a little nervous #not that high production value is always bad but I like shows to be a little messy....#movies like parasite or the handmaiden are so good that they can justify the production value and the money that goes into them is clearly #well-spent #but in every netflix kdrama I've watched the male leads all look very generic and charming and nice and the sets and the outfits #are all so shiny and polished and it's just...idk I wish there was more variety and grittiness in it #the glory lb
