Aervis waddles over to Colette with a box of chocolates he stole bought "Happy momma's day Ms. Colette!"
"Mama's Day? I'm not a mother," said Colette, though she wouldn't turn down free chocolate. "Thank you, though!" She crouched down and scratched between Aervis's ears. "Wanna share?"

Colette returned with a highly caffeinated cola and a lemonade, handing the latter to the moth. "Not quite the nectar you're used to drinking, but it is freshly made in-house, with real lemons!" She looked at the empty bones on his plate. "You really were hungry, huh?" she said with a chuckle, digging into her own plate.

Things were going from bad to even worse this month for Aervis, first he gets spotted by a bunch of campers while he was trying to give himself a dust bath in this beautiful little forest clearing he found that just so happened to have a gravel riverbed flowing through it to suddenly being chased by men in black suits driving off road vehicles and even a helicopter at one point. He didn't even remember where he was going or where he was heading to all he remember was seeing a 'Welcome to' sign and then running/flying through cities and towns that he's never been through before.
Now however he was panicking he didn't have his usual disguise on and unfortunately had to resort to stealing some that were hanging on a line out in someone's backyard. His tummy rumbled loudly, when did he last eat? He didn't remember, but he knew he needed to eat as soon as he could. A soft whine escaped his fuzzy lips as he pulled the fabric of the stolen turtleneck sweater up higher over his face, the incredibly baggy pants he found helped hide his floof a lot though so that was a plus, unfortunately he wasn't able to find any shoes or a hat he could wear.
Aervis looked around at all the people wandering around town and hoped no one would say anything about his outward appearance, at least not until he had gotten a proper disguise on himself.

✏️ for Aervis
Colette: There are some things beyond our understanding. We must accept them and learn from them. Because these moments of crisis are also potential moments of faith. A time, when we either come together or fall apart. Nature always has a way of balancing itself. The only question is, what part will we play? Aervis: Did you just make that up? Colette: No. I read it in a fortune cookie once. Aervis: Colette: A really long fortune cookie.
Colette: The joy of hanging out with Aervis. You look away for 5 seconds to make sure something is set up correctly, and they bite the tip of a marker off.
Colette: runs up to doors Colette: Be careful, Aervis! These doors say "Blast Danger"!
Colette: I am an expert at identifying birds. Aervis: Okay, what about those ones flying over there? Colette: Yeah, they're all birds.

The town of Point Pleasant was busy getting ready for their annual festival that celebrated their one of their many local cryptids this one in particular was known as the Mothman. Loads of different vendors were busy setting up their areas in preparation for all of the festivities that would be held for that day along with the museum of the mothman setting up their own little areas of entertainment aside from the museum itself. It wasn't too long before the event was ready to go as people began to flood the streets as they checked out with each vendor had available to others just sitting around on benches chatting about their own thoughts and theories of what the cryptid could actually be and whether or not the creature really is a omen of despair and death.
Meanwhile perched high above on a tree branch a small moth-like being sat and watched the humans below meandering around to and fro. He had seen the festival a few times during his stay on earth, but he never once thought to try and join in. Infact this was actually the time were he tried not to go out wandering seeing as the festival tended to draw in tons of cryptid hunters from all around to try their luck in finding the mothman, him, for a lack of better words. He knew he wasn't the original mothman that the celebration is for, but he figured that it wouldn't really matter if he was or not to whoever did manage to find him. His only hope was that he could survive another year of this without being found.

"Yes sir! Aervis here, hi again!" Aervis chittered as he rolled around in the specters' ghostly claws. He then moved to sit up before looking between Snatcher and Hatty. He noticed how happy they were together and a feeling of longing for his own parents struck him which unfortunately by now he didn't even remember what they even looked like by now. "Aervis found Hatty all alone, but he brought her home so you wouldn't worry." He said trying to hide his previous feelings.
Guilt by Association--Open AHIT RP
Hat Kid felt her blood turn ice-cold as the person before her picked up the picture that had fallen from her pocket. A picture she'd tried, and utterly failed, to retrieve before they could see it.
A picture of herself and her father, the latter of whom was holding a laughing Hatty above his head, her signature purple top hat atop his own head.
Preparing for the hell that was likely about to be unleashed upon her from the formerly nice person, now that they knew that her father was none other than The Snatcher, the little alien couldn't stop the small whimper that escaped from her.
"...don't hurt me."

the continent of sir’ral is home to five kingdoms:
aestren, to the southeast, orrisce, to the southwest, eitre, to the northeast, iotiun, to the northwest, and unteine, at the center.
most kingdoms fall under a monarchical system, where the present ruling king or queen would keep a starchild as their right hand & adviser, per their long standing tradition. however, in eitre, they have discarded faith in the stars and have chased the starchildren’s influence in their land.
• south of eitre lies the falwor forest, which acts as the border between eitre and unteine.
• iotiun is housed on the perint mountain, which is the highest point in all of sir’ral. the mountain’s ridge carves southeast, and comes to be a direct path between it and unteine.
• a vast valley separates aestren from the caervi plateau. aestren is known most for it’s trade in both livestock and fine cloth.
• orrisce is positioned at the edge of a vast desert, likewise named after the kingdom itself.
• unteine makes it’s home upon the caervi plateau, and is known for being a centerpiece of trade and commerce for all kingdoms.

Mun Plays Final Fantasy V
I’m almost done, but...
Okay, when I started up my game, I went to the basement of Castle of Bal and fought tons of Objet d'Art enemies. Like, I managed to master a number of jobs for a few party members, including Mime and Red Mage, which take 999 ABP to fully master (well, Mime only has one level to master which takes 999 ABP and Red Mage requires 999 ABP to fully master at level 4). I was there for quite some time, having Krile or Bartz (my fastest attackers) use Level 5 Death to instantly kill any enemies that appear. I only left to buy more Elixirs when someone got low on MP.
Eventually, after mastering so many Jobs and leveling up a number of times, I left. But before going into the Rift, I tracked down the remaining two Blue Magics, Dark Spark and Transfusion. I was just about to go into the Rift before I remembered Bahamut and tracked him down. Surprisingly, he wasn’t super difficult to beat, but I still had to remain mindful and plan carefully. But I managed to defeat him.
And with that, I stocked up on items, mainly ethers, Tents, and Hi-Potions before finally entering the Rift. I also switched everyone back to Freelancer so I can have the stat boosts from the jobs they mastered without the stat drops. I went through with no issues before encountering Calofisteri. I was somewhat struggling at first, since she hit Lenna, my main magic damage dealer, with Stop, so I had to attack with what I had until she returned. Nevertheless, I managed to deal quite a bit of damage, despite Calofisteri healing and casting Regen and Shell on herself (by reflecting the spells off my party), but when Lenna returned, she Dispelled her buffs just in time for the others to beat her.
I continued on, starting to run low on MP, so I had to ration my ethers and Elixirs carefully. I went on further, walking past the Omega superboss and reached the Library, where I fought Apanda. I made great use of Ifrit, making the battle a cakewalk. I continued on until I reached the Castle, where I accidentally found myself fighting Atle Roite/Jura Aervis. Not one, but three of them. One when I entered a cells and the other two when I tried to leave. And before I was able to heal and restore my MP, I found myself fighting Catastrophe. Though I was able to make the battle easy by using Mighty Guard with Carbuncle.
After beating him and freeing the “prisoner”, I decided to speak with Azulmagia. I easily defeated him by having Bartz use Self-Destruct. After Azulmagia learned the ability, he used it on Faris, killing him instantly (though he also took Faris out in the process). With the Save Point, I used my Tents and saved the game before reaching the Throne Room and fighting Halicarnassus. He really wasn’t all that hard, since I mostly had the party gifted with Reflect by Carbuncle and at Lenna use -aga spells on all of them, hitting Halicarnassus for quite a bit of damage.
After beating him, I went on and reached Twintania and... I lost. But I was able to reload the automatic Quicksave that occured when I entered the room. When I tried again, I used Carbuncle on the party and just did nothing but use magic, either reflecting magic off the party onto Twintania, or directly hitting Twintania with magic, causing him to counter with Mega Flare, which wound up getting reflected back onto it.
At this point, I was really starting to run low on MP and I was fresh out of ethers as I entered the Last Floor. Gilgamesh was a quick fight, since he wasn’t really a boss fight. As I continued on, I quickly found myself hating Mindflayers, since no matter what I do, whether I use physical or magical attacks, they counter with Mind Blast, making battles take longer than they should. I eventually managed to make my way to the end, finding Necroprobe before engaging him in battle... where I lost because of Reflect on the Barrier.
When I tried again, I did the same tactic as with Twintania. Lenna would use magic on the party, which would hit the Barrier. But Krile and Bartz would use physical attack (Bartz and Lenna occasionally healing) while Faris summoned Bahamut. Once the Barrier was down, I focused on Necroprobe, able to deal hefty damage before Gilgamesh came in and finished him off. I saved the game and used a few more Tents so that everyone was at full HP and MP before going to fight Exdeath. I also saved while I was there.
First phase wasn’t too difficult. It was the right amount of challenging and I was able to fight comfortably. But for the second... Not so much... I spent quite a bit of time attacking the front part, the one the stuck out forward the most, taking quite a bit of time before I finally took it out. But by that point, I was starting to lose ground, even more so when it used Grand Cross. In the end, I lost. When I reloaded my Save and adjusted a few things, mainly giving Bartz and Sing ability while Krile got the White Magic and Lenna got the Dualcast ability. And yet, I got a game over in even shorter time against the second phase, partially due to Grand Cross. I was hoping Hero’s Rime would give me the edge I need, but no. It didn’t feel like it helped all that much, even against Exdeath. So I decided to leave, fighting my way back to the entrance, and stopped off at Carwen with intent to grind a bit before tackling Exdeath again. I might try again when everyone is level 50, since they’re at about 43 right now with Lenna being level 41.
