Insane. This is soulmate shit.

Just...put it all together:

Aemond One-Eyed dies above the God's Eye. He's impaled through the eye and falls to his death.

Helaena, a daughter of House Hightower who speaks prophecies, jumps from the top of a high tower and falls, then is impaled through the throat.

Both deaths happen at sunset on the same day.

Two characters that, despite being siblings, you wouldnt think were close given they don't really interact in the book. Yet THEY are the ones given such symbolic and mirrored deaths. Why? WHY GEORGE?!

#i will die on this hill #none of the #“authors” of fire & blood have any reason #to lie about how or when the siblings die #george has no obvious reason to give #them such beautifully entwined deaths #unless there was something else going on #something the public had no reason to #suspect (like helaena's visions which even #her own family is unaware of. the public #has no idea so naturally it doesn't end up #in f&b. a secret affair between them #naturally wouldn't be public knowledge #it's not even a rumor like with narys' and #aemon. so a longterm affair is both not #only plausible based on how f&b is #written it's actually reasonable)
