I have been published before this. I had a poem published in a local, self-published book supporting Take Back the Night in college, I had a short story published in an online journal, InterText, and I wrote for the Virginian Pilot for several years. But this is my first writing contract, this is my first horror publication, and this is my first residuals/contract. First of many, I plan.
