Acotar is Maas before she fall in love with Rhys. She created rhys, explore.more and let herself grew detach of Feyre. I can feel her love and wanting Feyre to grow into something else. Her resentment to Fae is very interesting too since maas made her trapped with a fae. An interesting dynamic.
Then she grew attach to rhys. I sense of this because of her pattern with Rowan and Aelin. I read somewhere that originally , it was not Rowaelin endgame. Rowan as just suppose to train aelin and that was that. Then Maas say that she wrote fanfic of Aelin x Rowan turns out well..
I would say Rowan x Aelin is a susccess. Yeah this man is hell to Aelin the beginning. But buttttt Maas dont water down Aelin to have her propaganda "rowan is perfect, rowan is most powerful fae" pushing to the reader you know. Aelin is still stubborn, she keep her plan to herself and refuse to share it with rowan.
It drove rowan mad if I remember them correctly. At least, we can see Aelin taking time and do according to her desire. Not blindly agree with Rowan. Then we have aedion in their family dynamic. Then rowan wanting to have allies, goes to each Whietorn ship and begged them to support Aelin. He said it jn the book, he wanted to support his queen and make her.proud.
And then the famous "where is my wife" scene. Wecan see them both as individual character. Very different character. Aelin is an ass a lot of time, selfish and a pick me. I know, but her character does not change simply for rowan. Water down for rowan. It took another whole book to shift their dynamic from stranger to friends to partner to lover. It feel long and develope to me. Then the scene Aelin share her favourite place in Adarlan, showing Rowan how to play the piano. It was small but sweet moment.
Rowan, slowly taking his time to calm Aelin after the mask and torture by maeve. Offering ring, telling aelin to eat and take break from training. It so diferent you know with Rhys and Feyre.
Feyre from headstrong, stubborn and independent water down to suit Rhys. I feel like she is over sexualized at one point and it feels each of their interactions is solely for sex. Even the reading moment "you look delicious today, feyre." Fuck off rhys. Can you chill and not make everything about sex? Let this girl breathe, read properly and learn about the world will you.
The only moment I like both of them have is when bring Feyre observing map sort of? Even that interaction is cut off. I want more interaction of Rhys sharing with Feyre whathe know. He seem to have this potential 'tutor' vibe. He is old, surely he learn a lot. But all we got is their interaction in the lbrary and attempt of having sex.
Then Maas keep worshipping Rhys and feyre lose all her personality for Rhys to check all he need to be the most powerful male in history. Tf, your wing get hurt ashes and you already dying.
I am not saying rowaelij is 100% but they have something rhys and feyre dont. Independent of their life from being water down by each other. They can stand on their own character because we all know, what is Aelin if not for her stubbornness and being pain in the ass? You just need to say blond, stubborn, confident and an edgy teenager. Everyone knows it is Aelin.
Something feyre already lose back in book 2 for rhys. I no longer recognize this feyre.
Hello anon
I think sjm is really attached to Aelin as a self insert. It's understandable since she developed the character from a young age.
But I don't see why she also has to self insert into Feyre? It's obvious she doesn't care about her.
So why SJM didn't just choose a different sister to carry on the second book. Anyone who knows my blog will know why I think it should have been Nesta but acomaf is supposed to be Hades and Persephone right? So why not Elain?
Acomaf Elain is exactly who post acowar Feyre turns into to suit the position of High Lady.
In acotar, it's possible to think of Feyre outside of her relationship to Tamlin. If you were making a moodboard or aesthetic edit you could include archery and painting, the forest and a wolf etc and all of that would be about Feyre.
If you try to do the same thing for Feyre from acomaf onwards, what comes to mind? It's hard to picture who she is outside of Rhysand's influence because it doesn't exist.
In acotar Feyre's love story is with Tamlin but also as an individual she is developing her relationship with the world around her. Lucien, Alis and, even Prythian itself, is something Feyre must work to understand on her own. As a result she is a different person by the time she goes home. She has matured. She sees that she was wrong about Nesta and she is able to let go of the promise she made to her mother.
In maf and war her relationships with others is dictated by their relationship with Rhysand. She meets people and is almost instantly friends or enemies based on if they are Rhysand's friends or enemies.
Feyre only knows 3 Illyrians: her mate and her friends who are 'brothers' but she hates Illyrians, why? Because Rhys does.
Feyre instantly connects with Tarquin on a really good vibe but still betrays him and almost dies stealing something important to his court. Why? Because Rhysand says so. Feyre could have told Rhys to give her a few more days to earn Tarquin's trust and then asked him to let Amren stay in summer and decipher it so they could nullify the Cauldron and save lives in the war. Tarquin wouldn't have said no. But she can't even think for herself.
At the end of tog, more than half the people who fight in the battle are there for Aelin. Her connection to them has made their appearance special. Aelin also shares the books with other pov characters.
In acotar, during the war, after 3 books of only Feyre as the main character - who shows up to the battle for her? No one.
Her sisters aren't there because they choose to be and Feyre's father doesn't even have a name. Maybe the Suriel is there for Feyre but they immediately die after only 2 or 3 interactions the whole series.
Bryaxis? Doesn't become Feyre's monster pet afterwards. Stryga and the Bone Carver? Useless and dead. And it's not like Feyre has been building friendships with these people.
Friends, enemies, allies - they show up for Rhysand. Even the king of Hybern mostly speaks to him. He is the main character.
Even in the end, I think the only person who helps revive Rhysand just so Feyre is happy, is Tamlin.

Hades
– God of the Underworld, death and the riches under the Earth
Rowan got home and shut his door, and went straight for the kitchen.
Aelin had been with another guy, and she had obviously been enjoying herself. They were good together, whoever the hell he was, and Rowan hated it. He shouldn’t. It was none of his business, and he knew it was completely inappropriate, but he couldn’t help it.
He was jealous.
He was hungry, too, but it wasn’t the fridge that he went for first. Instead, he opened the cabinet next to the stove for his whiskey, but it wasn’t there.
“Looking for this?”
“Shit!” Rowan spun around to find Lorcan sitting on his couch, his bottle of Jack in his hands. “What the hell are you doing?!”
Lorcan shrugged a shoulder. “Elide had friends over. I was bored. I came to annoy you, but you weren’t here. I let myself in.”
Rowan blinked. “Wh- How?”
Another shrug. “I have my ways.”
Rowan stared at him, dumbfounded, but he just didn’t have the energy for Lorcan right now. One problem at a time. Besides, no matter how much of a pain in the ass Lorcan was, he had been Rowan’s best friend for far too long to get too pissed.
As Rowan walked into the living room, Lorcan asked, “Issues with your student?”
“Why would you think that?” Rowan muttered, grabbing the bottle from Lorcan’s hand before plopping down on the couch next to him.
“Because it’s the middle of the week at four in the afternoon and you’re drinking,” Lorcan observed.
“So are you,” Rowan argued.
Lorcan snorted. “Yeah, but I’m me.”
Rowan said nothing, just flicked the top off the bottle and put it directly to his lips. No need for glasses this time, he didn’t really give a shit.
“Did you hook up with her again?” Lorcan asked.
“No, of course not,” Rowan snapped. “I have better self-restraint than that.”
“Then what’s your deal?”
Shaking his head, Rowan took another swig before setting it down on the coffee table. “Nothing.”
“You’re a shit liar, Whitethorn. You always have been,” Lorcan replied, leaning forward and nabbing the bottle. “Something’s got your feathers ruffled. So what’s the deal?”
“Nothing, I just…” Rowan sighed and realized what a girl he was about to sound like. “I saw her with another guy.”
Lorcan stared at him.
Rowan stared back.
“She was…with another guy?” Lorcan asked, at last.
“Yes,” Rowan said, word clipped, as he snatched the bottle from Lorcan.
“And that…bothers you?” Lorcan asked. “I wanted to be alone,” Rowan said. “If you’re going to be an ass, the door isn’t far away.”
Lorcan chuckled and shook his head. “Do I need to tell you that you’re being ridiculous?”
“No,” Rowan said, chugging from the bottle.
“Slow down,” Lorcan warned. “Last thing you need is to show up in the morning with a hangover. You’re already fucking a student, no telling what Maeve would do-.”
“I’m not fuck-.” Rowan’s words dropped off as he closed his eyes, and rubbed his temples. “Me and Aelin are nothing. I just… I don’t know.”
Lorcan watched Rowan for a moment before staring down at his hands. Then, he said, “It’s okay if you care about someone, Rowan. It’s been a long time since you have.”
“I can’t care about Aelin,” Rowan said, quietly, fidgeting with the label of his whiskey bottle. “It’s not-.”
“Because of Maeve?” Lorcan interrupted.
“Yes, because of Maeve,” Rowan breathed. “This is my first job, Lorcan. And it’s doing something that I love. And, I’m good at it. The pay is great, the benefits are decent, and it provides a promising future.”
“And Aelin graduates this year and will become a nurse,” Lorcan added. “This isn’t a crime, Ro. I think you’re just overthinking it.”
“Easy for you to say,” Rowan snapped. “Elide was a waitress and you were a bartender. Not quite as scandalous.”
Lorcan raised a brow. “Is that judgement I hear?”
Of course not, though it was another bout of jealousy, an altogether different kind though. Rowan didn’t covet Elide, not like he wanted Aelin, but he wanted the ease of what they had. Sure, the two of them had their ups and downs, usually due to Lorcan’s stubborn ass, but their relationship had always been…easy.
They wanted to be together, so they were together.
Lorcan had had to get a new job when they became official, due to the strict no fraternization policy at the bar they worked at, but that was an easy thing to do. It ended up benefiting the two of them when he got a better paying job, with better shifts and larger tips.
Rowan just shook his head again. He sighed and fell back against the couch. “I can’t get her out of my head. I won’t see her again until class and Tuesday morning and that just…” He rubbed a hand over his face. “She’s my student. It’s inappropriate for me to think of her like this.”
Lorcan groaned. “Rowan, she’s a twenty-one-year-old, grown ass woman-.”
“And if I start seeing her like I want to, I will get fired,” Rowan said, stretching out every word.
Every brutally honest word.
Yeah. He wanted to see Aelin again. They had only spent one night together, but something had happened during that one night.
Something that Rowan just couldn’t shake, couldn’t forget.
But, if he started seeing her, and Maeve found out, he would lose his job, and there was a good chance he would never teach again.
Was it really worth it for a girl he had just met?
“I’m done trying to convince you either way,” Lorcan drawled, propping his feet up on Rowan’s coffee table. “At the end of the day, your stubborn ass isn’t going to change its mind.”
Further putting an end to the conversation, Lorcan reached across the couch and grabbed the Xbox controlled off the side table, turning it on. “You gonna let me kick your ass on some NHL or you gonna pout all night?”
Rolling his eyes, Rowan took another swig out of the bottle before getting up and grabbing his second controller. “You talk a lot of shit for someone who loses every time we play.”
He knew what Lorcan was trying to do, and he appreciated it. He wa trying to keep his mind off of the stupid situation he’d gotten himself into, but Lorcan was right. Whether he liked it or not, his mind was made up. Aelin was off limits, for multiple reasons. He didn’t want to jeopardize his career, but there was also hers to take into account.
It hadn’t even begun yet, and he wouldn’t let a scandal of hooking up with her professor ruin any prospective jobs she might be interested in if they were caught.
Lorcan was right about one thing though. Aelin would be graduating at the end of the semester and then maybe he could revisit something with her.
Maybe.
*
Rowan’s Friday had come and gone and before he knew it, he was sitting alone in his apartment with his beer and a laptop.
It may not have been his most exciting of Friday nights, but he decided to play it safe. Last time he’d gone out, it hadn’t gone so well for him…
Deciding to stay ahead of the game when it came to grading, he pulled open his laptop to see who had turned in their short essays so far.
There was only one: Aelin Galathynius.
Of course, the rest of the class would be procrastinators, but not her.
Not the one who haunted Rowan’s every other thought.
“Alright,” he muttered, drinking from his bottle. “Let’s see what you wrote.”
He was pleasantly surprised to see that she’d chosen Apollo. While Apollo wasn’t his favorite god, he was fairly impressed. He definitely wasn’t expecting her to choose him. He was expecting Dyonysius or Demeter or even Aphrodite, even though she’d clearly found the girls who stopped him after class to ask about her as ridiculous as he did.
She admitted she didn’t know much of Apollo, but after leafing through the textbook — he reigned in his shock that she did unassigned reading, as well — she found that he was the god of music, among other things. She clearly knew the difference between an opinion piece and formal essay, because it sounded like she was just having a conversation with herself as she wrote. It was refreshing.
She explained that the music was what really attracted her to him. She’d had a deep love of music ever since she was a child and while she did love a good glass of wine every now and again — there was the reference to Dionysius he was looking for — music, and even poetry, was like another language that only she spoke.
As for why she decided to take the class, she was very blunt. She had a hole in her schedule and needed one more class that could fall into her world history parameters to graduate. She figured she might as well enjoy what she was learning.
He hoped she still would.
He read through her essay three times, before closing out of it, not ready to grade it yet. Two more had been submitted while he looked it over, one about Ares, god of war, and the other Eros, god of sex.
Rolling his eyes, Rowan closed his laptop. He knew neither of them would compare to what he’d just read.
And after reading it, with each time, he had grown more and more attracted to the woman who had written it.
He downed his beer and pulled out his phone, scrolling through his contacts to where hers was.
Aelin.
She still had his sweatpants and tee from when he was at the university. Which hadn’t been that long ago. He liked that shirt, and liked seeing her in it even more.
She was beautiful.
She was smart.
She was funny.
She was kind.
She made love like a goddess herself.
And he had an inkling that he had broken her heart.
But you had to, he reminded himself, even though the words were weak. Every time he thought about Aelin, he was having a harder time convincing himself that keeping her away was worth it.
He hardly knew her.
But, damn, she captivated him.
And that was dangerous.
*
Taking an eight am class may not have been one of the brightest things Aelin had ever done, but setting up her schedule to have Fridays off absolutely was. She rolled over as she woke up, on her own, without an alarm, but found it was still only eight-forty-five. So much for sleeping in.
She threw her covers back and climbed out of bed, rubbing her eyes as she made her way across the hall to the bathroom. She and Lysandra had polished off two bottles of wine last night, and she was pretty tipsy by the time she’d tumbled into bed. To be safe, and make sure she didn’t make any bad decisions, she’d plugged her phone in and left it in her room, while they were in the living room.
Otherwise, she was liable to text Rowan.
After submitting her essay early the night before, Aelin had made a run to the liquor store. There was still a third bottle of wine chilling in the fridge and she debated on spending the day polishing that off as well. She had nothing else to do, no plans for the evening. So why not.
Flipping on the light to the bathroom, she froze as she saw what she was wearing. She didn’t remember putting on Rowan’s shirt, but there she was.
She fiddled the fabric between her fingers before taking it off and tossing it aside. She supposed she should bring his clothes back to him.
She was certain he was missing them.
Or, maybe not. Maybe he didn’t care that they were gone. Maybe he didn’t want them back. Maybe he thought they were tainted since they had been on her body.
No, she knew that wasn’t true.
He had worshipped her body.
Yes, she should most definitely bring them back, if only to gain the selfish satisfaction that he would have to look at them and know that they had brushed along her bare skin after the night they had shared together.
And beyond, apparently, as it was days later and Aelin was drunkenly dressing herself in his clothes.
Better than texting him.
Returning them to him after class certainly wasn’t a good idea. She could keep them in her bag and hope that she ran into him in the coffee shop again, but that would still be in public. Finding out where his office was wouldn’t be too hard, she was sure, but that would still put her on campus. That was too risky.
She’d realized that it wasn’t only his career in jeopardy, it was hers, too. She’d be followed around with the stigma of the student that slept with her professor if they were caught. She wasn’t about to mess up the lucrative internship she’d already started working on securing for after she graduated, even for the most gorgeous man she’d ever laid eyes on.
The best sex she’d ever had.
Shaking her head, she hopped in the shower. She couldn’t think about that.
She knew of one other place she could drop them off. No one from class would be there, and no one would know she’d stopped by.
Except for Rowan.
And he was bound to be pissed.
*
It was just after five-thirty by the time Aelin figured out her bearings via Google Maps and was standing in front of a familiar apartment building off of campus. She may have been drunk the last time she was here, but she remembered a few key details that she was positive would get her where she needed to be.
Rowan’s clothes hung at her side in a plastic bag, and she entered the building, heading for the elevator.
“Can I help you, miss?”
Aelin froze, turning back around toward the voice. An older gentleman sat behind a desk.
Shit.
She hadn’t remembered his building having a doorman the night she’d come home with him. Since they got here so late, he may have already been off for the night, leaving the building’s tenants to their own devices if they were to get locked out.
Lying smoothly, she said, “I’m here to see my new boyfriend. I brought him a surprise.”
She held up the bag and suddenly wished she’d put it in anything but the bag from the little drugstore on the corner by her own apartment.
“Is he expecting you?” The man asked.
“No,” Aelin replied curtly. “That’s the point of a surprise.”
“What unit does he live in?”
This was the issue. She knew he was on the fifth floor, and she remembered what the welcome mat outside his door had looked like, but she had no clue what unit he lived in.
Clearing her throat, she said, “5C.”
She went with her bra cup size.
She figured it was good luck.
The doorman stared at her.
Aelin stared back, unwavering.
“Very well,” he said, at last. “Have a good afternoon.”
Aelin hurried into the elevator before any more questions could be asked, and rode up to the fifth floor. She strode down the wall and stopped at the black and white doormat that said, You read my doormat. That’s enough social interaction for one day. Then, she looked up at the door.
5D.
Aelin wondered which man in 5C the doorman thought she was sleeping with. He hoped he didn’t have a wife or girlfriend she had just made things very complicated for.
If only her boobs had been one cup size bigger.
Without another thought, Aelin raised her fist and knocked on the door.
She heard movement on the other side of the door and as the footsteps came closer, her anxiety ramped up.
This was a bad idea. An awful idea, actually, but there was no going back now.
She heard the lock flip and as the door opened, she tried to relax her posture, to not look like she was about to go out of her mind with nerves.
Rowan stood on the other side, his cell phone pressed to his ear, and as he found her standing in the breezeway, his eyes went wide.
“I need to call you back,” was all he said, his eyes going back to their normal size, though the intensity burning in them nearly had her combusting.
There was stilted conversation on the other side of the phone. Rowan responded. “I need to go. I’ll call you back.”
The person on the other side was still talking when Rowan pulled the phone from his ear and ended the call. She heard a distinctly male voice on the other end of the phone, which did not sound happy.
“Is everything okay?” Aelin asked, in a way of greeting.
“What are you doing here?” he responded. He didn’t sound mad. Just…confused.
Aelin lifted the plastic bag in her hand. “Thought you may want your clothes back.”
Rowan’s eyes slowly drifted from hers to the bag before he cleared his throat and said, “Oh.”
“Oh?” Aelin asked, quickly. Too quickly. Rowan’s jaw locked. “Do you...want to come in?”
Aelin hesitated.
“Or, I can just take my clothes back now-.”
“I wouldn’t mind coming in, just for a second,” Aelin said.
The two of them stared at one another.
Rowan stepped to the side, ignoring the phone vibrating in his hand, and let her in.
Aelin tried not to consider whether it might be a mistake as she stepped over the threshold.
He didn’t say a word as he shut the door behind her.

answering questions I’ve been asked on TikTok✨
Tumblr media
.
.
.
QUESTION: how did you get into reading?
So, when I was in middle school (many moons ago) we had this thing called AR Testing. Basically, you read a book and take a test on it—the questions were things that happened in the book, it was really simple. If you got a good grade, you got points. The more points you earned, the more eligible you were for the reading party at the end of each semester. Me, being the nerd I am, got top of my class because I went through 8th grade level books like it was nothing. The librarian at my school brought me books from the high school to read since everything was easy for me, and alas, my addiction began. And now that I have adult money, it’s a true addiction. Also, telling my father “I’m bored” and his response being, “go read a book or something” so thanks dad.
QUESTION: what’s one book you ALWAYS recommend to people?
This one is tough because I’ve read THOUSANDS of books, but if I had to choose one, it would probably be Confess by Colleen Hoover. I fell in love with her work in high school when I first read Ugly Love, but Confess is the type of book that pulls at your heart strings, y’all. It has everything people love: humor, sexual tension, drama, love. GO BUY THE DAMN BOOK. Or honestly any book by Colleen Hoover—she’s a fucking amazing author.
QUESTION: outside of making TikToks, what do you do for a living?
I currently work at a restaurant and hate every second of it. If anyone tells you to become a server, DONT. It’s not worth the hassle, I promise you. Sure, you can make decent money but the amount of rude customers and shitty tips you receive each shift is very disheartening. If you really need a job, do anything BUT work in the food industry.
QUESTION: what’s your wattpad story about?
First question: which one? I have about 30 drafts sitting there waiting to be posted. But, I’m going to assume you’re talking about the Harry Styles fan fiction I’ve been working on for the past 4 years and haven’t had the courage to post. I’ll tell you a little about it: Elaine Aldridge is forced into a betrothal to a man she’s never met & loathes. She goes to his court and realizes things aren’t what they truly seem. And the guard her future husband sticks on her??? None other than Mr. Harry Styles. Add in some magic & deaths and you’ve got my story— The First Prince. (Honestly, that’s an extremely shitty description so if you wanna check it out go to my wattpad account)
QUESTION: how old are you?
Ahem. . . twenty-one.
QUESTION: what is your dream career?
Being a published author and having people rave about my books. That’s all. Or, an editor for a publishing company. Imagine reading all day and being paid for it🤩
QUESTION: what was your least favorite read of 2020?
I already KNOW I’m gonna get shit for this but....... the wicked king. YALL I LITERALLY COULDNT GET THROUGH IT IM SO SORRY, I STILL HAVENT FINISHED IT
QUESTION: current favorite author?
Sarah. J. Maas. I don’t know what it is about her writing style, but it’s addicting. Throne of Glass is hands down the best series I’ve ever read. A Court of Thorns and Roses is the first book I’ve EVER reread. Her stories truly suck you in and hold onto you—you get lost so easily in her writing and it’s like once you’re done with a series, nothing will compare. Or, at least that’s how I felt after finishing Kingdom of Ash. Honorable mentions: Jennifer L. Armentrout, Penelope Douglas, L.J Shen, Elle Kennedy and Kennedy Fox.
QUESTION: any recommendations/tips to give to a new reader?
I’ve always given this advice to people who want to get into reading: find what you like and start with that. If you like romance, I’ve got a list for you to choose from. Mystery? Another list. Sci-fi? I GOT YOU. Fantasy? Yes! Sports fiction? It might take me a second but I’ll find you a book. Nonfiction? I’m zero help in that category, honestly. The point of the matter is that you’re never going to enjoy a book if you aren’t interested in the underlying topics.
QUESTION: do you ever find yourself comparing your life to fictional life?
Yes. All the time. I daydream about being apart of the Inner Circle and living in Terrasen with Aelin and Rowan. I think about what it would be like to have real powers and a mate. It drives my boyfriend crazy—but he loves me anyway.
QUESTION: what are your most anticipated books of 2021?
Here’s a list:
A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas
The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Gods and Monsters by Shelby Mahurin
Crescent City 2 (Untitled) by Sarah J. Maas
A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer (I just ordered this one & it arrives tomorrow)
Blessed Monsters by Emily A. Duncan
QUESTION: why did you start a Tumblr?
Honestly, I used to love tumblr when I was in grade school (way too young to be on here then but what else is new). I like having an extra space to get my questions and comments out without having to compress it into a 60 second video for TikTok to see. Tumblr is a good place to blog & post things like this.
QUESTION: what’s your favorite song right now?
I’ve listened to Carry You by Novo Amor every day for the past two months and I cry each time.
QUESTION: why write Harry Styles fan fiction?
Simple: I love Harry Styles. I’ve been a fan of him and One Direction since they were on X FACTOR. Read that again. X. Factor. I used to watch their performances on YouTube before WMYB even came out. Of course, I love all of the 1D boys but I was always a Harry gal. And I look up to him in a way—I’ve read things about people wishing they knew him personally and honestly? I would never want to meet him. I like the version of him I’ve cooked up in my brain over the past 10 years. I like the symbiotic relationship I have with his music. Fine Line is a ✨masterpiece✨. HS1 is a ✨work of art✨.
now, some topics I’ve been asked way too many times and want to finally get to:
QUESTION: political views?
the saying “anyone but trump” has been in my brain for the past four years. No, I’m not a republican. No, I’m not a democrat. I like to think of myself as a progressive (ahem, liberal) Did I vote for a democratic candidate? Yes, and I’d do it again and again until the US isn’t one of the worst countries—I’m sorry, businesses— to be apart of. I wanted Bernie but got Biden, and I’m alright with that. And my girl Kamala🥳
QUESTION: how did you feel about the BLM protests?
I went to multiple BLM protests and donated a lot of funds to BLM & other organizations. It’s 2021, people... stop being fucking RACIST. And don’t be afraid to call racist people out! Black Lives Matter, even if no one is posting about it anymore.
QUESTION: thoughts on abortion?
your body your choice, queen! not my uterus, not my problem.
QUESTION: there was a comment on an old video of yours talking about r*pe, why did you delete the comment?
I made a video when I first started my account on TikTok about reading in public and feeling “turned on” by it. Go watch it if you don’t know what I’m talking about. BUT, some ignorant male decided to comment and say “this is how girls get r*ped”. Whew. So. I deleted the comment because ....
I am a victim of sexual assault. Along with a lot of other women. 1 in 5 women have been victims of sexual assault. Talking about being r*ped isn’t funny.
No one else needed to see his comment. I reported it immediately and his account was shut down.
I never got justice for what happened to me, and the fact that some random male—who had never even met me or seen me before my video showed up on his FYP—had the nerve to comment that? Unacceptable.
this question isn’t as controversial but
QUESTION: what’s the best way to get out of a toxic relationship?
okay, let me just start off by saying that the people around you who love and support you are going to be your backbone. Leaving a toxic situation is hard, and every situation is different, but my best piece of advice to offer you is don’t be afraid to ask for help. Your loved ones are going to be there for you when you need them, even if you don’t believe they will. If you explain what’s happening, someone you know and love will drop whatever it is their doing to make sure you get out safely. good luck my babes.
now, back to our regularly scheduled program:
QUESTION: any tips on making tiktoks?
Literally none. I post what I think is funny and relatable and if anyone agrees, I’m satisfied. Even if it’s one view, it’s good enough for me. So I guess my one tip is to not base your life off of an app and followers.
QUESTION: favorite Harry Styles fanfic?
DONT MAKE ME CHOOSE. Duplicity is up there, along with Stall 1&2, and Kiwi. After? Absolutely not.
QUESTION: favorite WEBTOON?
y’all already KNOW. LORE OLYMPUS BY USEDBANDAID. Rachel is a genius and I have reread the series a million times. Hades is my soulmate and Apollo can rot in the fiery pits of the Underworld. also, if we’re talking about other webcomics, reading Walk on Water on mangadex...🤫
Tumblr media
QUESTION: favorite movie?
Howls Moving Castle. I will be getting my “a heart is a heavy burden” tattoo very very soon.
Tumblr media
QUESTION: I read your Elain theory on tumblr, can you explain a little more?
I thought I was pretty straightforward but I’ll say it again: she is always the “good” one and it’s too suspicious. SJM has already given one Archeron sister a happy ending, Nesta’s is obviously inevitable, but Elain? She has too many options for a happy ending. Lucien, who is her “mate”. Azriel, who is intrigued by her slightly. Her human guy—I don’t remember his name—who is disgusted that she’s not human anymore. Or, alone, planting flowers all day. BUT! My point is that she’s not truly happy. She was forced into the Cauldron just like Nesta. She was ripped away from the life she loved so dearly and didn’t want to give up. The man she was going to marry now hates her guts because she’s a High Fae. She has the perfect set up for a villain plot line and I’m all here for it.
well, that’s all I feel like doing tonight. hope you enjoyed my little q&a! be kind, and talk to you later! byeeee!

11 questions
I have never done one of these, but the lovely @easkyrah tagged my main so I’ll be answering the questions here since some of them are ToG/ACOTAR-related. :) Also, if any h8er anons are reading this, if you don’t have anything nice to say (to me, her, or anyone else in this community), keep your damn mouths shut. There’s more than enough toxicity in the world already.
I’ll be honest, I don’t know most of you in the community very well, so I’m tagging people who have supported me thus far. I hope that’s okay :) @sparkleywonderful; @tntwme; @readinglikewildfire; @jklaren; @favbabe; @vukica10; @easkyrah (feel free to answer the questions if you’d like~)
11 Questions For You
1. What is your spirit animal and why?
2. What is your favorite book (feel free to list a few, I won’t make you choose one)?
3. Tell us a prompt for an OTP you’ve been thinking about!
4. If you could be instantly amazing at something, what would it be!?
5. What is something you like about yourself? (feel free to decline to answer)
6. Where is your favorite place to go, and where do you hope to travel someday?
7. What is your succinct, 140-words-or-less opinion on social media?
8. Fuck, Marry, Kill - Rhysand, Rowan, Lorcan (good luck)
9. (I am running out of questions...) What is your favorite TV show at the moment, and why is it 13 Reasons Why? Or alternatively, who is Jeff Atkins, and WHY DID HE DESERVE BETTER!? *sobs*
10. What is your favorite classical Greek or Roman myth?
11. Would you rather live in the Throne of Glass universe or the ACOTAR universe?
My answers to Ea’s questions:
1) If you were Romeo, would you have killed yourself?
2) If you had known the Library of Alexandria would have been burned down, what would you have done? (Other than kill Julius Cesar)
3) If you were a Greek/Roman God, who would you be? (Why?)
4) Would you cure all the kinds of cancer or world hunger?
5) Fae or Illyrian? (insert evil laughter—you can’t choose both)
6) Angst or fluff?
7) Do you think hell is boiling or freezing? (Why?)
10) Rowan or Rhys (you can’t choose both ^.^)
11) If you could be the child of any OTP, who would it be? (Why?)
1. If I were Romeo, I probably would have considered killing myself for about 5 minutes before slapping myself and getting it together. Then I would figure out a plan to escape with Juliet. From what I remember, Romeo and Juliet is tragic, but both of them also did some tragically stupid things, so it might actually be a damn shame if Romeo lived and then Juliet left him for being an idiot. But ideally, we’d escape and live happily ever after, right~?
2. Saved as many books as possible. AS MANY AS POSSIBLE.
3. Wow, this one is tough!! Hmmmm... I always admired Aphrodite for being the most beautiful (essentially), but she’s a little too narcissistic for me. I would probably go insane if I was Persephone, and Hades kidnapped me and kept me in his underground fun dungeon for 1/4 of the year because I love the sun and daylight. I identify with Athena, but I don’t think I love war enough to be a goddess of war, even though she is slow to anger. I think I would be Artemis (Roman: Diana), the goddess of hunting and wildness - I’ve always admired archery and I’m a bit of a wild child!
4. Tough question, but when I really think about it, world hunger CAN be cured. What’s the solution to world hunger? Food (and money)! We have more than enough food and money on Earth to ensure that nobody ever has to go hungry, but capitalism doesn’t really fit that philosophy. So I would choose to cure all types of cancer, because currently, there is no 100% effective cure for all cancers (and there are so many)!
5. I think having Illyrian wings would be so so cool. Honestly, I was leaning towards Fae, but I might be Illyrian at heart.
6. Personally, I prefer to write angst, for sure. I love a good fluff piece, but my passion seems to be in characters development and situations where characters make flawed choices lol.
7. Haha, interesting question. Personally, I hate being cold so I’m sure if I was in hell, it would be quite cold. Perhaps, if hell is real, then it is of our own making? I mean we are the only ones who know what would hurt/torture us the most.
I don’t see questions 8 and 9, but that’s okay! I am okay with anarchy!
10. I think this question would be harder if it was Lorcan or Rhys, lols. :) I’d prefer Rhys over Rowan; I prefer how Rhys is more playful ;)
11. Ahhhh, I actually don’t really like child/pregnancy fics that much. But... it would probably be dope to be the child of Rowan x Aelin or Rhys x Feyre heh. THINK OF ALL THE POSSIBLE MAGICAL COMBINATIONS YOU COULD HAVE. I might explode from the womb (without killing my mother) in a shower of fireworks!

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas My rating: 4 of 5 stars When I was reading this book, I've skimmed through some of reviews of it in here and quite a lot of them were saying that this book bears an uncanny resemblance to another book by Sarah J. Maas - "Empire of Storms" from the "Throne of Glass" series. Back then, I thought it was just because both of these books were published in 2016, so reading these books back-to-back might make them look a bit similar. But, the longer I was reading, the more I was realizing that the similarities 'girl with power and her gloomy, powerful boyfriend' aren't the only ones, and yes, I'm gonna list all of the ones I found here so !SPOILERS AHEAD! and feel free to add any others that I forgot about or haven't noticed: - Aelin/Feyre discover Rowan/Rhysand are their mates and are Shook™ - followed by "Wait, but I thought Lyria was Rowan's / Tamlin was my mate" - the plot basically centers around looking for some magical object (Wyrdlock/Book of Breathings) - there's some powerful, ominous ruler (Maeve/King of Hybern) far over the sea that waits to attack Erilea/Prythian - Ironteeth Witches/Illyrian warriors talk about how they hear "song of wind" or something like this - in the finale of the book there is some Huge Event (naval battle/school trip to King of Hybern's castle) - the Event seems to go very well for the main characters but then the Villain-Ruler-from-Over-the-Sea appears and is like, "binch, you thought" - the main characters are like *insert the star wars "it's a trap" gif here* - to make the finale more dramatic, nearly all the main and secondary characters appear in it (you thought it would be only the King of Hybern and the Court of Dreams in this castle? how about some Tamlin and Lucien? not enough? okay, have the Mortal Queens. Nesta and Elain are missing, you say? well, would you look at whom are the Mortal Queens leading among them) - then all of those people fight a tiny bit but mainly Talk™. Lots of Dramatic Revealing, bargaining and main characters trying to escape/save their skin. - The objective of the Talk™ is Maeve wanting to take Aelin to Wendlyn/Tamlin wanting to take Feyre back to Spring Court - Maeve/King of Hybern and Tamlin, of course, succeed, cue tearful scenes of Aelin/Feyre bidding farewell to their friends - at the end of the book, the main character is in the hands of the enemy (Aelin on Maeve's ship on her way to Wendlyn/Feyre in the Court of Spring) - HOWEVER, Aelin had managed to slip Wyrdkeys into Manon's pocket/Feyre had managed to give the Book of Breathings to Rhysand, so the good characters still have the Magical Object - somewhere at this point we get to know that Aelin x Rowan/Feyre x Rhysand got married the night before the Huge Event - the Good™ characters are grieving a bit over the loss of the main character but later go all "Let's Get Down To Business To Defeat The Huns" and each of them gets some kind of task and off they go BUT If we're already comparing those two books, let me just say this: The ending of "Empire of Storms" made me sigh deeply with annoyance and roll my eyes. We're on the 5th (FIFTH) book and everything seemed to go so well, Aelin & Co. would have just enough time to figure everything out, defeat The Evil™ and come back to rule their kingdoms for one more book. But now we have Aelin closed in an iron coffin, shipped on a ship straight to Wendlyn and the situation seems to be Helpless (no, that's not a Hamilton reference at all, idk what you're talking about), which means that before the things that I have mentioned before can occur, they'll have to save Aelin first. The fact that, for some reason, I was sure that "Empire of Storms" is the last book from the "Throne of Glass" series, doesn't help my annoyance for sure. The ending of "A Court of Mist and Fury" made me EXCITED for the next book. Right after I had finished reading it, I checked on Sarah J. Maas' website when "A Court of Wings and Ruin" will be released (May 2017!!!). This ending gave me hope - yes, Feyre is back in Spring Court with Tamlin The Traitor, but Tamlin thinks that Feyre was under Rhysand's spell the whole time she was in the Night Court. He doesn't know that Feyre was there bc she wanted to, that she's a mate and a wife of Rhysand AND the High Lady of Night Court and that she developed her powers. So, as opposing to Aelin The Prisoner situation we have in "Empire of Storms", here we have Feyre The Spy situation, which gives us way more hope. Stepping away from comparisons. As many other have already said it: the writing style of Sarah J. Maas is... specific and a bit repetitive, after a while it can get a bit tiring. She uses hyperboles, but not in the correct "Of course I don't mean it like this, I exaggerate a bit to put an emphasis on it" way but in "no, guys, but it was EXACTLY like that" which makes the whole world and character creation a bit unbelievable. Feyre is a bit self-centred (especially in the beginning, she goes all "woe is me") and nearly everything revolves around Feyre x Rhysand. However, I enjoyed "A Court of Mist and Fury". I really did. The construction of the world is very interesting and beautiful. I liked the secondary characters. There were some nice plot twists. I really like the Mor x Az pairing and I hope we'll see more of it in "A Court of Wings and Ruin". Is this book problematic? Yes, a bit (at least it doesn't kill off WOC as a plot device like some OTHER book series *cough cough* "Throne of Glass"*cough cough*). Is it worth reading? Yes, if you like fantasy and some very subtle references to the Persephone & Hades myth. Out of the two book series by Sarah J. Maas, this one is definitely better - the plot isn't unnecessarily dragged out, the world creation more original, you want to read the next book not because you don't like to leave a book series unfinished but because you're curious what's gonna happen next.
