The Batman is unfortunately too smart for a laser pointer. After I stopped playing with it with him he spent like an hour obsessively retracing his steps, looking around corners, positioning himself for all the best vantage points, looking under floor mats and carpets, and crying in vexation. He doesn't have the constitution for this ephemeral light that disappears without a trace for no discernible reason. He needs answers that I cannot give

I should get up and clean the kitchen but Alfie is finally sitting next to me relatively restfully and I know that the second I get up he's going to prance over and start getting in the sink and walking around on the counters and throwing himself in the fridge and knocking things over and otherwise causing Problems
