Guys, I took this silly selfie for you. I’m not a professional book photographer and so it’s difficult for me to take good pictures of just books(if you want some pretty pictures of books though, and great recommendations, head to @anystorywilldo). ___ Also, these glasses probably have the tiniest amount of prescription possible in them. I never wear them except to smart-people parties, which I never go to, and so I guess I really never wear them. ___ Anyway, let’s come back from #tangentland. One reading goal I have for this year is to read at least one book a month that I would recommend to someone else. Looking at pictures of me pregnant kind of makes my stomach turn. That’s just not me, I’m not eternally pregnant so I see this and it just makes me uncomfortable. ⠀⠀ But the reason I’m posting this is because I wrote out the story of when we found out I was pregnant with Alice. ⠀⠀ If you’ve had any form of contact with us in the last year and a half we’ve probably already told you this story. And for the other 3 people on the planet that we haven’t told well here it is. Or there it is, on my blog. ⠀⠀ It’s not an especially interesting story but I think it’s funny. I can’t think of anything really funny or clever to say about this picture. All I think when I see it is how little she still is and that I’ve still got so much time with her, which is good. I was listening to @supersoul this morning with Brenè Brown. She talked about her parenting manifesto. I think we need one of those. Sometimes I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing with Alice. I feel like all my manifesto would say right now is I promise I won’t let you eat bugs on accident or Lima beans on purpose.
