15. What advice do you have for other aro-spec people (or those questioning being aro-spec)?
hmhm first of all. you need to make 2 playlists: one for songs that give you aro pride, and one for when you feel rejected and misunderstood and would like to sit in a sad fog for a bit. my name for this particular playlist is just “aro angst”. this way you curate the vibes you want a bit better than just having one playlist of all your aro music. songs can absolutely go on both playlists btw.
also just… it’s okay to be sad about being aromantic. it’s okay to be lonely, it’s okay to feel grief for the paths/lives you’ll never experience. being aro is hard sometimes, and there is pride and joy to be found in being aro as well. both these things are true, and whatever you feel or don’t feel is absolutely okay.
