From Bauhaus to sukekiyo

Don't hate me but someone had to do it*:

I just got online, and was immediately reminded that the ICONIC Daniel Ash (BAUHAUS) completed 67 years - Happy Birthday!

Then suddently my neurodivergent-dumbdumb had to immediatly google him because I haven't heard anything from him in a while (and I was afraid that... you know 🤡).

The bad news is that my ADHD is still holding hostage my cognitive function - that's why I don't remember seing anything new from him.

And the good news is that not only he is alive (and I don't have to mourn another hero from my childhood) but he is still kicking ass on stage!! I've just read «Tones on Tail’s First Performance in 40 Years at Cruel World Fest 2024» and this dude has the audacity of looking and sounding the same!!

He's not only the guitarist for the iconic goth band Bauhaus, he also leads two other bands (Tones on Tail and Love and Rockets), is listed as inspiration for many other lengendary guitarists (for example: Hide from X JAPAN, John Frusciante from Red Hot Chili Peppers, and so on) but what schoked me knowing was:

HE REMIXED SUKEKIYO'S MANIERA? HOW DIDN'T I NOTICE THIS BEFORE? (my adhd strikes again) Obviously I had to check sukekiyo's website and, indeed that info is correct. But then I ended up on their own wikipedia page, and - what a sad small «history» they have.

So, if anyone is a big sukekiyo fan, wants to take some time and learn how to do a proper biography on wikipedia (always with references/links, otherwise your changes will be deleted) and knows more than this, please contribute. I've already did my part * and I had to add the Daniel Ash reference 😎

It's such a cool connection, and I think it deserves to be more visible.

I... think this is about @the-forgottenone and, like, if you haven't browsed my blog, I love Sora, perhaps too much, he's my favorite character in KH and the whole character I created over there is really me just having fun. You grinned, almost rolling your eyes at his silly charm, "I need to put on my eyeliner and lipstick."

"Don't," he took the brush from you, putting it on the bed. He ran his hand through your hair, messing it to bedhair. "I want to see you how you wake up next to me."

You were touched, hiding your full smile, "Okay, but you better not show it to anyone."

"Trust me. I don't even let them look at you," John joked. The melting ice of his eyes switched between you and the camera's screen. "It's just for me."

"You know you can print photos from the phone," you jabbed at him, feeling like you were an undeserved celebrity with the camera's flashes and his adoratio.

"Not the same feeling," John said, "I need it as real as possible."

He was a ridiculous romantic when he wanted to be. It always startled you when he dropped his gruffness, letting that golden retriever out. You finally presented the smile that he loved, the flash capturing what would soothe his longing during his missions.

Or, my pet theory, that, somehow, Sora meets Yozora for the first time on Quadratum and, for some reason, sends him to the Final World to save that past version of himself.

I think that this is a big translation error. This one line has led people to believe that there's another character named Sora, which isn't exactly being implied by the Japanese text.

What Yozora says is "Why are you calling yourself Sora?"

You could translate it other ways, like "Why are you claiming to be Sora?"

Ive felt intense jealousy or Envy really, towards a person with a much Different and intimate relationship w my ex partner. It was almost annoying they were Not partners, ironically.

So, id like to experiment convaying that with Law's love for Corazon being this incredibly sentimental, physically affectionate thing that is beyond just parent + child or savior or what ppl like to call "romantic".

Law having this intense idealistic adoratio n for Corazon that overshadows his relationship w reader. Makes the reader (and maybe some crew) feel ... completely inadiquate to make Law as happy.
