That’s right. I called him a horse’s patoot bc he’s been a naughty boy with his surgery recovery. Two more weeks of antibiotics & a healing cream for this silly man bc he’s made a mess out of the incision site. How he got past the e-collar is beyond me, but he’s now sporting a mega collar instead. It’s Two for Tuesday with the vet visits! First, ATTENTION ALL WALTER FANS!!! Bloodwork is back to normal!! Can I get “Woot! Woot!” So we’ll keep him on the antibiotics and hopefully all will continue to go well. Then on the 28th, as long as Doc gives it a thumbs up after a full workup, he’ll start his heartworm treatment. Thank you to all who contributed to getting this guy healthy! As for all of you Adoring Andy fans...well, it’s the road to a positive outcome wrapped up bummer news. As displayed in his collage of expressions, sweet Andy has to have his toe amputated. 😕 BUT, on the positive side this means that we’ll get rid of the infection once and for all, and he’ll be out of pain. Better to wipe it out since it’s not responding to antibiotics. So on the 4th of March, he’ll be less a toe and less the infection! So it’s all good! We’ll let you know when surgery is finished so that you can follow this handsome guy’s recovery.
