I regret to say that The Day the Earth Blew Up is kind of appallingly bad :’)
#the day the earth blew up#there is not one scrap of actually effective comedic timing in it#it’s like someone in the writing/storyboarding/editing line decided that the rote act of a gag is sufficient and strung 50 of them together#hoping that’d make the movie funny. (some of them even might have been! if the timing/execution had been tweaked!)#alas#I had hopes! I want to see more 2D movies!#admittedly my one other main exposure to Looney Toons-adjacent stuff being the original run of animaniacs#might have set my standards a BIT high. but like. oof. that was painful#movies
