I have decided that Patton and Virgil in my au are Jewish which means I am now officially projecting one or more aspect of my identity onto ever character (Virgil gets chronic pain from hEDS and Celiac Disease, Logan and Remus are autistic, Virgil and Patton are Jewish, all of them except Patton and Janus are in some way aro-spec or ace-spec, Patton is trans, and Janus uses multiple sets of pronouns).

I’ve decided that Patton is working on the perfect gluten-free challah and rugelach recipes because Virgil has celiac disease and challah and rugelach are two of the things he misses most since his diagnosis (yes I am projecting and yes that is very valid of me)

I think I’m going to go with the last name Zucker for Patton and Virgil because I feel like the idea of Patton being related to confectioners is super cute, and I like the idea of him doing a lot of baking to connect with his culture and his family history which gives me even more of an excuse to put traditional Jewish baking into a fanfic (which I never really get to see even in baking fics)
