Me: -texts guy to confirm he still wants me to grow out some birds for him in April because it takes 2-3 months to grow them out to juvenile size- Me: -never hears back and sells chicks due to limited space & resources- Guy: its june you got them now?

#🤦‍♀️#dude its a month and a half after I texted you about it #I do have some but I only kept back enough for me #why didn't you confirm when you were asked to?#additionally I lost 2 of the adult hens in the latest heat wave RIP poor babies and will not be able to hatch anymore eggs #I'm glad I kept the ones I did because otherwise I'd be SOL on breeding stock for next year #I don't usually keep growouts at the start of the season but I felt like this species was going to go south from the beginning& got nervous #too many problems with the adult breeder birds #the chicks are super heathy tho #definitely have several bold roosters in the making
