🍒 (cherries) - Does your character have a best friend? How long have they known each other? What do they like most about each other? How did they meet?

Rivet’s best friend would probably be Cello or Rouge.

— Cello and Rivet go way back to their competition days, and despite their differences, have kept in touch over the years and talk regularly.

Cello knows how much Rivet cares about people, and wants to protect her from the vile ones who don’t deserve her time of day, while Rivet appreciates that she can always expect Cello to be honest.

After all, the firefly tends to see things as they are, and will always be straightforward to Rivet if she thinks she’s veering off course. Rivet may not always appreciate her brutal honesty, but she does listen.

— Rouge on the other hand, meets Rivet when she’s brought in to assist the Restoration by Sonic. She likes the cat’s spark and has fun talking to her, happy as well that she’s an older lady like herself.

Despite Rivet’s initial aloofness due to her going through some darkness at the time, Rouge didn’t let that deter her, and even joked that she’d ‘fit right in with another grumpy hedgehog’ she knows.

Rivet appreciates Rouge’s charm and sass, (Gotta love some good sass!) and her willingness to listen when she inevitably breaks down about everything that led her here.

She also often relies on her wellspring of knowledge about things she doesn’t have much experience with. (Like makeup and fancy gifts for dates!)

The two now meet up whenever time allows to sit down and gossip about life and guy troubles. ✨

🧣(scarf) - What comforts your oc? Is it an item? An action? A person? Whatever it is, how and why does it comfort them?

Although she can hold things together fairly well, when Rivet does need comfort, she tends to want to be close to/hug/snuggle a loved one. The warmth and presence of another being puts her right at ease and can calm her down from pretty much anything.

It’s a deeply rooted behavior that harkens allllll the way back to her earliest moments of childhood.

When Charge hugged her close, barely aware of his own existence as a wee kitten. Subconsciously sharing his energy with his struggling sister to help her live when their parents feared she wasn’t going to make it.

She doesn’t remember the event personally… but it left an imprint.

🐞 (ladybug) - What does a perfect day look like for your oc? What do they do? Who do they see?

Perfect day.. Hmm…

Rivet would say waking up with the sun coming in through the window, lying next to Starline would be a great start.

Maybe followed by a hearty breakfast and a day of racing where she can test and push her newly upgraded gear to it’s limits.

It’d be even better if she beats the Babylon Rogues in said race, before then going to have outside dinner with all her friends while watching the sunset.

…There are some days too though when lying in bed all day or working with Starline in the lab is perfect too. 💖
