Given how unsavory she was in the garden + her description in the Zohar that has her as needing to be removed (and the corruption thing I discovered about Adam & the taking of the female for her protection), Lilith would have been removed regardless if she and Adam made up, copulated and expected children together, because Lilith would have been cursed to die in childbirth together with their child/children (since, iirc, the kids that were meant to come from the first humans were supposed to be twins). I think the only way these two would have thrived together would be as adoptive parents, completely childfree, or through becoming an item without the pressure of having to nurture humanity to Heaven's standards, which would either be done outside of Eden, or far off into the future when their purpose didn't matter anymore. I just don't see a reason for them to thrive in Eden while they had a chip on their shoulder. 🤷‍♀️

You know, the legend of Eden from the Zohar is honestly so bittersweet when it comes to Adalith. They were made for each other, yet the same forces that wanted them together made them into a forbidden relationship.

Do you think Adam x Lilith had a good relationship in Eden?

Short answer: In canon? I have no idea. In the myths? No. My personal take? Yeah.

Long answer: I'm inspired by deep dives into Lilith's archetype, psychology and philosophy. I'm exploring their relationship through the lenses of trauma where they represent the conscious and subconscious mind. The trauma comes from societal expectations that force individuals to reject the connection to their inner self because it's not in alignment with the world the individual is raised in, hence why Lilith (the initial subconscious mind) was not a help that matched him (the conscious mind), and also why she was replaced with the desirable Eve. (ref. Zohar) I've met Lilith in several contexts where she represents the darkness of the subconscious mind, hence why I interpret her as such. Think of it as the relationship you have with yourself in early infancy. You don't outwardly reject yourself unless you're given the parameters from external sources to do it. I see their relationship as a metaphor for this primordial trauma. Had they been accepted as they were from the start, then they would have had the potential to mature into a confident relationship where they could have course corrected along the way. I liken that to the confidence you feel as you grow up. You mess up, but you don't beat yourself up for it because the mistake doesn't define you - your reaction, response and what you do afterwards does.

Personally, I ship Adalith in the context of healing that disconnection. Whether the ship becomes platonic or romantic in nature, that is highly dependent on the context of the future and also the plotted desire of my writing buddies and I in RP.
