About those April Drabble Prompts?

OK, so.

I started this prompt list last year, but never completed it. When April rolled around this year, I remembered it again and wanted to add to it, but things didn't end up working out that way.

But!

It's not abandoned, and I don't intend to wait until next year to work on the remaining prompts again. I just have to carve out time to write them.

Also, fun fact: I've actually had 2 of the remaining prompts filled out and waiting in my drafts since last year. I just can't post them yet because I haven't reached them on the list yet 😅

My favorite fruit has to be lychee! It's so refreshing and perfectly sweet and tasty. Grew up on those lychee jelly cups and the fruit itself does not disappoint! They're only sold in the Asian market in town tho and are so expensive...

I'm a spinach lover at heart. It's tasty and can be cooked into a variety of dishes. But I like all of them! Vegetables are just tasty and good

"I'll always take advice from Plat. He's my bestest friend ever, and he only has my best interest in mind." Sandy hummed.

"Sandy....for the other half of that question, I'd say that I'll never take advice from a Sharkling. They haven't exactly been on my side...ever." Plat answered.

"Wait, really? But your dad was a Sharkli-"

"Exactly."

29. What recurring dreams do they have?

"U-Um....sometimes I dream about Alterna. It's all super vague, mind you...but I can remember living there before the tragedy. I...I remember the warm hand Father would place on my head whenever I cried or has upset. When he told me it would be okay. I wonder sometimes...if he's telling me that from the beyond, even though he's not here anymore." Xingxi sniffled.

🐚 ⇢ do you like or dislike surprises?

In writing? Most of the time, I like being surprised (as long as it makes sense/I can look at it afterwards and go "How did I not notice that earlier?!). If it feels unearnt or poorly foreshadowed, surprises just make me annoyed.

🕯️ ⇢ on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy editing? why is that?

If 1 is 'loathe it' and 10 is 'love it' , I'd probably say about a 3 or 4.

I don't hate editing. And it's very satisfying to see a WIP come together and be ready to unleash onto my readers. But I won't say it's the fun part of writing. And sometimes I get stuck in the editing phase 😭.

It's actually kinda hard bc there's not a lot of characters I really hate that I can think of off the top of my head bc I blank them out from memory to not think about them. Ill try to find reasons for this one tho

-I do like his design. I'll always be weak for a long hair anime swordman obviously

-I like how silly he is,, I mean all characters from this manga are silly but he has some pretty silly faces

-Uhm...Uhhh...I like his group of retainers //not even really about him lol

I did like Shuro initially, but after that confrontation with Laios he really rubbed me the wrong way. I do understand that it was most likely intentional but like...ough as someone who is neurodivergent herself, seeing him yell at him at Laios for not being able to read the signs and pick up on his mood is like. Dude seriously. That's what made you hate him. A situation that would not be a problem if you used your big boy words and expressed that to him instead of being passive aggressive. Do you think Falin would ever accept someone who treats her brother like this? Anyway I'm glad he no longer pursues her in the end bc she's better off with Marcille //hit

(Woah... 2023 its over! i can't believe it heheh!)

(This year, it was the 5th anniversary of the blog, I can't believe that 5 years have already passed since I created the blog on April 25, 2018 :'3! but this year, in addition to the anniversary and advancing a little in the story of Splatoon 3, I created a blog for Alternative Future AU :D!)
