I'm in the rin fandom and am dissipointed in the lack of rin this ep

With the way this show seems to be structured—I like to think of it as 1) RinHaru, 2) RinHaru and MakoHaru, 3) NagiRei, 4) RinHaru, 5) NagiRei and MakoHaru, 6) MakoHaru, to be continued—I’m guessing that there’s a high chance that they’re gearing up for more Rin-involved episodes starting from the next one.

In retrospect I’m personally disappointed too that he had little to nothing to do with aiding Makoto and the rest at all, since it seemed like this episode would’ve made a good moment for his beginning to repair his relationship with them, and  particularly because I wanted to see the river flashback in the actual show (maybe it’ll come up later), but—

Don’t worry, if they’ve brought up Makoto’s childhood, they’ll certainly address Rin’s, and that would definitely mean a good amount of Rin interaction. Especially since most of the mystery in the show involves him even if you read High Speed! (what happened to Rin and all that).
