do you have any coffee recommendations for someone that isn't a coffee drinker? getting coffee with someone is such a staple social activity, but i can't help but feel a little left out since i'm usually drinking tea/a tea latte

hey dont diss the tea latte i LOOOVE a london fog with a little vanilla . good winter drink... but yeah.

i think the biggest way to get yourself to like coffee is get something thats not fucking shit lol. starbucks espresso is the cheapest garbage on earth and will taste burnt and bitter. an actual espresso will taste So much better than anything you can get there for the same price or cheaper haha.

i always just recommend a latte, its the most diluted espresso drink and in most american coffee shops you can get some sort of flavor with it, if you really wanna learn to love the coffee itself you can always pair it with a nutty or caramel flavor cus honestly most blends go for those notes and itll be tastyyyyyy.

another choice without espresso is a cafe au lait (starbucks calls this a misto. which is fucking insane and stupid.) which is half steamed milk (no foam!) and a brewed coffee. im not like. a huge fan of these cus i dont like milk but its the same sort of idea but might be a bit more palatable than trying a brewed roast off the bat LOL.

if u are near any local italian places with gelato, GET AN AFFOGATO. nothing even to say there its just gelato with espresso poured on top. its fucking amazing. stracciatella affogato save me... save me stracciatella affogato.....

but yea hope this helps. go local, try around. find a place that u like, everywhere will do it differently thats for sure.
