(#Rayllumiscanon) Kay, so, recently, like three days ago now, I created my fourth TDP playlist on Spotify because I have no self-control, but I want you to check this one out too. First we had Rayllum, and now we have Callum and Claudia! And unlike my Rayllum playlist that screams true love, this one more or so says toxic, or, lost love. What I'm trying to say is that it's angsty, so tighten your seatbelt for the feels trip.

listening to it now!! callum/claudia is one of my fave relationships in the show and 90% of that is bc i’m a glutton for angst. i have a playlist for them too here! <3 (i also LOVE the cover photo you chose)

“You're looking at me like you don't know who I am / Blood on my shirt, heart in my hand” definitely fits omg!!

“somebody that i used to know” is already one of my favourite songs ever, it’s so good, so i’m giving it a big thumbs up just for that. i feel like overall the song feels like it’s more from claudia’s pov for me somehow?? probably cause she might hold onto callum longer than he held onto her

god i haven’t actually listened to evanescence in years. they’re a lil too rock / punk for me now but it’s still a cool sort of semi nostalgic trip.

“everybody’s fool” is definitely callum’s pov with “You don't know how you've betrayed me / And somehow you've got everybody fooled”! i like that “missing” switches up and is clearly claudia’s pov - we love balanced angst. “call me when you’re sober” is understandably another callum pov song as well. very nice angsty push and pull!

“why do you love me” feels like a claudia song, even if it’s incredibly dysfunctional, but i also kinda love it? really like the bass line and it’s an artist/song i’ve never heard of before!

love the “attention” cover!! this lyric is what makes me think of them the most “Maybe you just hate the thought of me with someone new / Yeah, you just want attention” 

and even tho i’m a massive rayllum shipper i’m honestly surprised more callum/claudia shippers don’t use callum being with rayla for supreme angst reasons and him realizing he’s just trying to move on from claudia but he can’t. like, that’s not what i think, but like, if claudium was my otp i’d be milking that for all its worth, y’know?

“stitches” is like a perfect callum song in regards to claudia tbh!! especially if they continue going down a more antagonistic route in future seasons! and even in 2x02/2x03 too with this lyric: “Just like a moth drawn to a flame / Oh you lured me in, I couldn't sense the pain” and “You watch me bleed until I can't breathe / I'm shaking falling onto my knees” with him doing dark magic in front of her in 2x07

the general theme of betrayal and “i know what you did last summer” bc s1-s3 does take place (approximately) in may-june is basically perfect

“without me” feels like a really interesting claudia pov song and how she could come to view callum post s3. like in her head she was just trying to do the right thing and gave him back the letter - and in response he picks rayla over her with the egg, with trust, over her father?? and now she has nothing. oh yeah, claudia’s gonna have a sore spot. also has some callum vibes too, with “i didn’t notice cause my love was blind” and “just so you could take advantage of me” after years of really admiring (and possibly idealizing) her

“too good at goodbyes” makes me think of callum post claudia’s sort of redemption and while he can believe she’s changed, he’s not really prepared to ever trust her the same way again - and whether he does is left up in the air, tbh
