hi anon, wont be posting your ask itself since id prefer to avoid spoilers on my blog- but that character wasnt killed either. they died due to their illness.

#at a very inopportune time sure but. yknow how it is #actually a lot of overpowered characters get killed off due to vague anime coughing up blood illness.#maybe it makes them seem more sympathetic and powerful?? makes them seem like theyve never technically 'lost' a fight #other than unfortunate circumstances #and when the Illness does defeat characters like that its always when theyre completing their Greatest Wish or whatever the fuck #so maybe the timing isnt THAT bad #idk i got off topic sorry. but i think your guy and [redacted] could be friends and bond over this
