The girls of #ActsTeens really did us proud with an exceptional job organizing #BrothersDay for #ActsTeensLive! We had loads of fun and laughter, and definitely felt appreciated and loved! Good job, girls! #ActsTeensLive is back at the Peak! And it was so wonderful to be able to gather physically again and worship and fellowship together with everyone. Last Saturday at #ActsTeensLive we dived deeper into discovering what living the #rEVOLution lifestyle means. It’s not always about projects but sometimes the process of praying, planning, preparing for and running the project teaches us a lot about ourselves and the world we live in and the plan God has for us all. So proud of all our young people, who in their clans, presented their #RevoProject plans, during our #ChickenCoop (our own version of the popular TV show “Shark Tank”), to representatives from our “Acts Business Community” who has an opportunity to respond in partnership, be it through sharing of finances, expertise, experience or even equipment. What a beautiful picture of unity and partnership and everyone using their God-given gifts and talents. This is only the beginning. We believe we are called to change the world. And we hear God asking us to Dream Big, Start Small, Build Deep... Week 2 of our "Revo Refresh" at #ActsTeensLive was powerful and practical! Presence of God was strong during worship. Our Small Groups put together individually wrapped "Revo Kits" filled with goodies with personalized notes, prayed and as led by the Holy Spirit, went into the mall to hand out these little gifts. Some even got to pray for people. From the testimonies (#RevoStories) we heard, it felt like everyone had a fruitful time of practicing Revo. May this truly become a lifestyle for us! Appreciate the message @darylenedj shared with all of us. Timely and important reminder of God's grace. And grateful once again for every teen, Dream Team, leader, and facilitator for serving and making it happen! And super excited for all the new friends who joined us! And thank you @actsteens for the lovely anniversary surprise! Really nice touch! #ActsTeensLive kicked off September with a reminder and challenge for us all to "Be the Revolution!" God has given us this message, since 2008, and little did we know it'll turn into a national and even international movement. We are humbled to be partnering with the Holy Spirit to bring positive change to our society and to be an expression of God's love wherever we are. 2020 is the year -- amidst all the uncertainties and challenges -- we revive @urtherevolution and remember that, now more than ever before, the world needs the light and love of Jesus, and we are to #bethechange we want to see. Another win at #ActsTeensLive this weekend! We concluded our “Into the Bible-Verse” Series with an epic sketch on Ruth & Naomi by the #ChickenWings (the adult facilitators of Acts Teens) as well as the launch of our #30DaysofRevo with the handing out of the Revo Calendar. Looking forward to a month filled with testimonies and the developing of a revolution lifestyle amongst us! Great message by @jevonne_weeeee our 5-minute speaker of the week, with a real and relevant Word! And to our first time speakers @kxrmun_ & @cat_tayyyy, I just wanna say how extremely proud I am of the both of you. I know so many people have said it and it runs the risk of it sounding cheap and meaningless, but I cannot lie and I truthfully am proud of you two and you both did so well, much better than when I first preached! The most impactful part (it was ALL impactful... the points, the PowerPoints, etc.) of the message was seeing Jesus, THE MESSAGE, in you two: The Message(s) — your lives and the authenticity of your lives shone through. #ActsTeensLive | 22.08.2020 | Truly the best place for youths to be on Saturdays! We sang, we danced, we worshiped, we prayed, we laughed, we cried, we received, we gave, we reflected, we repented, we... were there. Always a significant opportunity to meet God and life-changing moments with the Lord. I’m so grateful and joyful that my team and I get to be a part of this Excellent ministry of the word by our 5-minutes preacher Eunice Chong and our preacher for the day Daniel Chong who spoke a powerful Word on the life of Stephen. Personal highlight of my #ActsTeens Saturday was the spontaneous time of worship and ministry amongst the leadership team during our Team Debrief. So blessed by our time together in #ActsTeensLive today! Once again, I am so encouraged and energized by our #ActsTeens Team! The way everyone served was simply incredible and is evidence of unbridled passion, desire and discipline for God and His precious people! My team inspires me to give my best too! And today we worshipped God with a new song we learned. I have never heard it before but I enjoyed worshipping along to it. Later, I searched it up on Spotify and listened to it. Honestly, I liked the way we sung the song at #ATL so much more than the original recording! Maybe it's just me, and maybe I'm biased but I really felt the anointing when we sang it and the worship team did it with such sincerity and heart! Well done @t.khyenn and @_aaroniu_ and Actstream! And of course, we had the amazing treat of having our Founding Senior Pastor @prkennethchin share the Word, based on the life of Noah. He taught on obedience and shared some powerful real life stories that really fired us up to want to obey the Lord and have our own stories too! Missed the message?
