HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLICK!!

A gay and trans KING, this bug-loving chameleon replaces his dad Nat as the head of the Bug-Off! Flick is also an artist who visits the island in his free time to collect gorgeous models to inspire his work, which he will then generously allow us to commission off of him! Like his boyfriend CJ, he sports their business logo, his on the back of his jacket, and CJ on his cap! The two are close “roommates” who just so happen to only have one bed and one bedroom, who do everything together, speak highly of each other, and go on coffee dates together constantly (along with sharing a vacation home in 99.9% of islands I’ve visited). So if he arrives today, wish him a very happy birthday, and gift him a whole swarm of bugs!

Happy Birthday Wardell! 

This quiet Manatee loves to listen to the sound of the ocean and think about life! He’s skilled at cleaning and polishing, and his ideas for relaxing sounds are pure and soft. He loves his job, even if he’s not a fan of talking to tons of people! Sometimes while Lyle is out, Wardell helps us at the Happy Homeroom in pocket camp with judging home designs! He’s always a delight whenever I see him, and for his birthday, I’m going to sit and listen to the relaxing sounds of nature! Today, stop in and wish Wardell the happiest birthday of them all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLANCA! 

This delightful cat NPC is genderfluid, and she/he loves April fools! Contrary to popular belief, her/his birthday is today rather than on April Fools Day, but that’s okay! She/he loves to let people design her/his face, as she/he was born without one! Every face you design tells a new story, and gives Blanca a new experience! While Blanca isn’t officially in New Horizons, if you have her/his amiibo card, you can always sit down for a nice cup of coffee or design a vacation home (and you should of course reblog with pictures)! But if you’re in an older game, don’t be afraid to time travel just to wish Blanca a very happy birthday! 

Fun Fact!  In New Leaf, if you start a new save file on April 1st, instead of Rover, Blanca will greet you and help you pick out your face!

Happy birthday Resetti! 

Also known as Mr. Resetti or Sonny Resetti, this cranky mole is in charge of helping out those who don’t save, and later in charge of rescuing those who need a quick lift back home! Unlike his calmer, older brother Don, Mr. Resetti is very harsh with those who reset their game constantly without saving, meaning many of us know his face quite well! In New Horizons, he got his job running the rescue service because with autosave, resetting is a lot less likely! Nowadays you can sometimes see him at the Roost, or if you really want, summon him with his amiibo! But if you do need a rescue, or you see him in the roost, wish him a fantastic, reset -ree birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAISY MAE!!! 

This young boar is the new face of the turnip-selling business, taking over for her retired grandma, Joan! She loves to sell turnips and she is the pride and joy of not only Joan, but all of us! Being a child, when she visits the roost, she’ll eat a Sable Cookie rather than drinking the coffee, as Brewster knows better than to feed children coffee. Today, since it’s Wednesday, Daisy Mae is having a big party on the turnip farm with her whole family, and Grandma Joan baked a turnip cake! But next Sunday, wish this young boar a very happy birthday!

Mabel Able, the most outgoing of the able sisters, and quite possibly the fastest due to her blue quills! She is the baby  of the family, raised by her older sister Sable after their parents died. She loves selling clothes, and is a one-hedgehog hype house for both her sisters designs, selling Sable’s sewing and Label’s fashions! She may argue with her siblings, but they always eventually make up because they are a tight knit family (yes that was a pun)! This smug villager gets his name from cephalopod (an active predatory mollusk, like an octopus or squid) + robot! He has the play hobby, and he loves to naruto run around the island! He is the only smug villager right now with the play hobby at all! He loves the songs Surfin’ KK and KK Robot Synth, and his vacation home request is “My Other Home” - or a home away from home! Happy birthday Sasha!

This lazy rabbit was introduced in the 2.0 update to New Horizons! He is the first (and currently only) male villager with the fashion hobby, but he doesn’t care because he still loves shopping! This is slightly ironic, as lazy villagers are known for not caring too much for fashion, often using their clothes as napkins in need... His dream vacation home is a moon-shot manor, and his favorite songs are KK Lovers and KK Robot Synth. Wish him a very very delightful birthday, hoppity!

The older brother of Mr. Resetti, Don is known for his much calmer and kinder demeanor! His name is a play on “don’t reset” - like his little bro, he shows up after a game reset to kindly remind you of the dangers, though he won’t yell or make you repeat after him. He’s never mad, only disappointed. In New Horizons, he helps his brother run the rescue service, and he can show up every so often in The Roost, enjoying a cup of blend coffee with no milk but three spoons of sugar! This normal rabbit gets her name from the coconut, which is an inspiration for her design, along with design elements from the gyroids! She has the education hobby and she loves to learn and teach!
