there is just. something so special about Pate to me for some reason.

when she first moved to my island i didnt give it much thought; just a new preppy neighbor, definitely gonna be nice to her like my other villagers.

but i realized after some time she was growing on me. i liked her aesthetic—she was rocking the cute clothes i gave her and her house is adorable. the higher our friendship level got, the more attached i became. i can tell she’s a bit insecure cuz she keeps having that “judgmental fish nightmare” that has her worrying bout her interior design skills but i still have this subconscious attachment to her.

i thought i had my villager favorites sorted, but dear Pate’s making me question all that…
