penny lamb is a faceless content creator who goes under the name of jane doe. in hopes of finding some friends, she goes to a convention that she was invited to, covering her face the best she can. she met some friends. and someone special.

ocean o’connell rosenberg is a vlogger who does occasional gaming with her friend, noel gruber. she’s well known for her known rivalry with noel. behind the cameras and crowd, she has a close bond with him. meeting up with her online friend, constance blackwood, she goes to a convention she was invited to. she met some friends. and someone special.

noel gruber is a gamer under the name “poetcentric”, where he plays a ton of games. on occasion he’ll invite ocean to play games with him. they’d bicker on camera, making him well known for his known rivalry with ocean. behind the cameras and crowd, he has a close bond with her. noel convinced ocean to go to the convention thet everyone was invited to, only for the sole fact that her friend, constance, was going. after penny and ocean met, he became the wingman.

constance blackwood is a calm youtuber who plays acnh and stuff like that, and on occasion makes baking videos with her family. originally only mutuals with ocean, the two got along pretty well, and became best friends. she also became the wingman.

mischa bachinski is a rage streamer who literally makes everyone’s ears bleed. he gets cancelled like every other day. surprisingly, not a lot of people hate him (besides the hecklers who decide to cancel him for no reason), and he’s actually quite nice when he isn’t raging. he calls it his “passionate / vulnerable” side.

ricky’s the editor. he edits for these group of people, and is the main reason why they all became friends. he does a ton of posting on tumblr (hey look this app!), and that explains why a good amount of people know who he is. without ricky, no one would’ve met the other in person.

ACNH island themes list I want to do but I probably won’t:

(posting it here in case maybe some of you will like any of those ideas and you need some inspiration)

1) Uzumaki - Junji Ito’s horrors inspired island. Dark abandoned-ish Japanese island with tons of Junji Ito references.

2) Gilneas - World of Warcraft themed island inspired by eponymous location. Rainy, dark academia/gothic aesthetic. Red roses only. Wolf villagers only.

3) Old Town - Sims 1 themed island. It’s just a towncore, but the layout is imitating sims 1 map and villagers should look like townies/NPCs (ex. Marlo - Mortimer Goth, Pietro - Tragic Clown, Ribbot - Servo, etc). I almost done this one, but I got bored lol.

4) Area 51 - obvious from the name, lol. Nevada inspired desert island, with all the UFO themed items hidden here and there.

5) Fern - Dark Academia + forestcore + witchcore island. Dark Academia central area that includes all the main buildings + 6 villagers houses. The rest of an island is a dark forest with 4 villagers houses + player’s house spread across the forest as witches houses.

Hihi! My name is Sage! I mainly write tickle stuff. I do art, fanfics, and tickle audios! My blog is strict SFW, NSFW won't be tolerated on here! I am a minor. I'm agender aroace, pronouns they/them! My main fandom is Hazbin Hotel, although I do go into Little Nightmares and ACNH a bit. I'm in and out of being active, school and work keep me busy. I initially played ACNH for 300 hours in between release day - july of 2020, and never played the 2.0 update or the HHP dlc until recently! So I decided to make a second ACNH spread with the goals to: experience as much of the 2.0 update as possible, beat HHP, complete all the bugs and fish in the museum (I have the fossils done and I will finish art another time).

I had a ton of fun but this was the longest grind I've ever done. I still have nightmares waiting like 5 hours for that damn giraffe stag to spawn my fucking god. Super worth it though bc this was the first time catching all bugs and fish even though I've played CF and NL :}

Summary

This was brutal. I curse the name of giraffe stags, mahi-mahis, and Dagnel. I had a lot of fun with HHP and I'm happy to be done with 3/4 of the museum, but my god at what cost? I wish my 2020 self did like a small grind to get these pier fish because why the hell did it take me 8 hours for the mahi-mahi T^T. Enough complaining, I highly enjoyed happy home paradise. I never played HHD for ACNL so this was a fun surprise and I loved the range of homes you could design. I also loved how there were overarching goals to complete: school, cafe, restaurant, hospital, clothing store, and when those were all done you were treated to a KK rave. I also enjoyed seeing my favorite villagers again and getting to play in seasons I hadn't previously played in ACNH. I have mixed feelings about Harv's island. I like that a ton of characters are brought back but I think some of them could've been integrated on the onto the main island better, like reese and cyrus having an add on to nook's shop and also give us another nook shop upgrade T^T. I miss playing with friends but it seems I might be making plans to play with Grimspark! Perhaps in the future I'll pick up this game again to finish art and flowers but that'll be in 2024 me problem. Tired of grinding T^T.

In ACNH, skeletal animations and matching texture swap animations (that is, facial expressions) are stored as two separate resources with the same name.

I was thinking for Project Special K I might have an object, of any type ("empty"?) with custom properties in Blender for the eyes and mouth texture swaps, so those could be animated and stored together with skeletal animations.

Unfortunately, it seems Blender's FBX export doesn't seem to support this — making an otherwise empty scene with a single object in it that has two custom int properties for the facial expressions and keyframing one of them over nine frames, then exporting it and opening it in Autodesk FBX Explorer shows only one frame's worth of custom properties.

Which is something, but not at all what I wanted.

So either I have an empty named "FaceAnim" (purely for identification purposes) and use its X/Y positions as the eyes/mouth frame indices, which since it doesn't involve custom properties at all should by all accounts work¹, or someone here gives me a better idea.

¹: though this might also involve a pair of custom properties that drive the X/Y position maybe? I dunno, I'm a kitty.
