idk if anyone's looking for a new laptop rn or how much weight my recommendation has, BUT. I have had my Acer Swift X for about a year now and I'm very happy with it. It's cheap, it has decent specs, and the only times it's had disastrous day-ruining crashes are when I was doing projects in AfterEffects, and I blame AfterEffects for that tbh.

It's about $800 on Amazon right now, so slightly cheaper then when I bought it! I think there is a slightly newer model, but honestly this one is Fine.

I would recommend picking up a usb splitter and an HDD drive to go with it, but tbh I would recommend that for any laptop. External storage is so damn cheap rn, you might as well (ALSO YOU CAN INSTALL YOUR STEAM GAMES STRAIGHT TO AN HDD TO SAVE INTERNAL SPACE AND THEN JUST PLUG N PLAY)

Many brands also unveiled new concepts and upcoming products—take, for example, Acer, which announced what is probably one of the more unique takes on camera tech that we've seen in a while. READ: Meet the Swift 14 AI, Acer’s New Copilot+ Laptop Dubbed the "SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo Camera," Acer's new product is designed to take advantage of spatial computing (yes, the same kind on the Vision Pro) by providing users with hardware developed specifically for that purpose. Let's take a look at what it offers. A Camera with More to It Given that the device is intended to record media for spatial computing purposes, Acer has designed the camera with a pretty unique look. It features two separate lenses with 8-megapixel resolutions fixed into a rectangular design. The camera also comes with a built-in selfie mirror, all wrapped up in a weatherproof exterior. As for imaging, the camera comes with auto and touch focus capabilities and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for smooth and steady video footage. Users also have the option of going into manual mode, which allows them to tweak settings such as calibrating ISO, white balance, and shutter speed for a more hands-on approach - it pretty much comes with the same features as on most mainstream cameras on the market, albeit with a little specialized hardware included.
