#like… okay…. i love berserk and i think its a story with important things to say and a lot of nuance and interesting philosophy. thats the#draw for me and a lot of other people. BUT im not gonna blame people for being turned off of it by the darl shit in it 😭 like…. i get the#impulse to try and defend berserk from like bad first impressions it can give to people but certainly mocking (mostly kids btw??) for being#grossed out by all the violence and gore…. thats not gonna do anything? that wont lead to actual discussions on if its worth it to consume#stories that involve a lot of really horrifying elements. and it definitely wont lead to discussions on if and when that kind of content is#acceptable and when it turns into just gratuoitous exploitation. and a case could definitely be made that despite how carefully berserk#handeles a lot of thing it definitely did overstep that line in its early days especially. but nooo We Must Make Fun Of People#who rightfully might be alarmed? especially if theyre kids who arent really familiar with horror or adult works lol#and even then some people just dont like tragedies and dark stories. its fine. grow up!!!!!
