I try to read historical fanfic but I think reading actual works from Victorian era makes me pick up on like modern language used in fanfic so i don’t often read that on ao3 but I try so hard lol are you going to watch the live action one piece movie/tv show that coming out soon? Did you like the BBC Sherlock show?

I think that's perhaps what I like about the yuumori fandom is that the work itself already is ahistoric and the timeline is already a bit wonky. So it's not nearly as jarring when you have modern and historic things mashed together on AO3.

I am sort of interested in OPLA but I don't currently have Netflix and I don't feel like buying Netflix just to watch it. I already am behind on the One Piece anime because my yuumori hyperfixation has uh... anyway I haven't kept up with the latest One Piece episodes because even though I love it and want to know what's happening I keep spending my time on other things.

I've actually never seen BBC Sherlock. I will say that I probably would end up watching Elementary first, just because I'm more interested in that premise as far as modern adaptations are concerned, but it is unlikely at this point I watch either.

I’m not familiar with that scandal but I googled sins of the cities and the synopsis was very interesting although I’m not really into beastiality so I’ll probably have to skim over that part haha I am really enjoying romance of lust, I like the descriptions and dialogue and how it’s written so I definitely recommend reading it. For me, my favorite word for a man’s genital is cock although I do like when it’s witched up with penis, now that I think about I have a preference in my fanfic or erotica for the more clinical words for genitals as opposed to the popular use of the word ‘cunt’ or ‘dick’ 😄 I see your a fanfic writer, which fandom do you write for? I would agree that cock is probably my preferred word for it, although I also dont mind dick at all. Much better than "prick" but I'll keep using prick in my writng when period relevant. I somehow managed to read Sins of the Cities of the Plains and find it mosty hot despite the most common term for that being peggo though, so I think my standards are relaxing 😂

I mostly am currently writing Moriarty the Patriot, but I also hope to return to writing both Yugioh and One Piece at some point. I think my most used tag is pwp tbh. Most of my fics are explicit.

Yeah, I suppose you could call No Game No Life an isekai. I didn't know what an isekai was when I watched it though.

It is both too bad we probably won't get a 2nd season.... and completely understandable... I'm fine just continuing to read the light novels, if that's what there is. [But also...antis really can't complain about fanauthors "normalizing" certain tropes, NGNL is a great example of the real publishing industry and where it will stop with them]

I started off enjoying AOT but the plot has gotten so screwey recently. I haven't finished or caught up with it. I'm not sure I care, even if it does feel like a train wreck I should watch.

It is both! Like pokemon it is an anime that got a trading card game. I write for the anime.

One Piece is very long. Not sure if it is the longest or if like Detective Conan or something has it beat but it's in the running for sure! I don't think I would call it my favorite anime though. Oddly...I think my favorite anime isn't any of those and may actually be No Game No Life.

And yeah, thats why I wanted to be more specific, because general seemed to make it worse than it was lol

Are you familiar with the Cleveland Street Scandal? The "author" (probably not actually the author, but the moniker they used) of Sins of the Cities of the Plains was a famous male prostitute from that scandal. It's supposedly a story of his sexual adventures. It's very very bi, but has some content warnings: underage and prostitution kind of go along with the premise, but there are also depictions of incest, dubcon (it's not as bad as my secret life on this front), bdsm (birching), and a brief scene involving some beastiality.
