Hi my name is Dominick Rosnato and I am a returning college student after 30 years. The topic of Bring Your Own device interests me in the fact that obviously I did not grow up in the technological generation, but my children have and the way they learn today is much different and more innovative. With technology tbe possibilities are endless! Even in my courses at ODU the variety of options for classes is extensive including distant learning, online courses, and synchronous and asynchronous web based classes. Additionally, my son attends a project-based learning school that was just opened last year after planning with stakeholders to make a recommendation for the program. One component of the program is the implementation of the BYOD policy. We have seen much success with its implementation thus far.
