Hiei with dragon - Figure.

I kept wanting to buy this figure off amazon, cos it was cheep, but it was xmas and I was skint, then it was out of stock... it came back in stock last week, for cheaper than it was! so now it's mine. and guessing it was cheep cos it's display case had a hole in it... but I dont care about that buwaha. It's made by ABYstyle, and this figure has the English name logo that Funimation used for the dubbed anime.

A small toy haul, that I got throughout (May 2023). I got the Abystyle Sasuke Uchiha and the Barbie Extra Mini Mins from Amazon. And the two Amiibo Links from BestB. I was hesitant to get Sasuke, because he looks quite terrible in promo images. He had major wonk eye going on, and also looked to me hyper-tanned, leaning towards fake-organge, type of tanned-looking. While, he is incredibly pasty-pale in all the anime I’ve seen. I haven’t caught up with Boruto, but at least all of the childhood, to pre-teen and teen and so forth, versions of Sasuke are all pretty pasty white. I am disappointed when they get he characters I like inaccurately. His eyebrows were a major reason to hesitate, they placed them halfway up on his forehead, when Sasuke’s are pretty low and close to his eyes (in a kind of natural position, instead of he has shaven all the hair off and drew them on all the way up there! Just like what they did with the figure). His face is a little bit prettier IRL than the prototype seemed to be, but holey-freaking-swiss-cheese, is he orange or what the heck! They even included original art from the anime right on the box, but they didn’t seem bothered that he looks paper white in that, yet the figure is orange... as orange as the background in the packaging.... >_<;;; Probably doesn’t appear as orange in my photos, but he’s a literal orange IRL.

Regardless, I got him with free shipping for retail, so I can’t complain too much, other than the box wasn’t collector grade, but what can you expect when you get stuff from Amzn and they are the ones shipping the items out....T ____T;;

The doll arrived perfectly well, so that was at least one less thing to worry about. This ist he second Mini Mins of this line, I was looking for this blonde version for a long time but wasn’t finding her in my “nearest” Walmrts nor Targts, so I went with Amazon, since they had them in stock for retail as well. 

I was super glad to see that this Amiibo Link turned out quite accurate to the promos. I was so deeply disappointed with Amiibo Sephy, although his head is much tinier in comparison to most other Amiibo, but still the difference is literally night and day. While this Link is pretty much as good looking as the prototype. I pre-ordered my two Links from BB, and unfortunately, they shipped them separately and one in a freaking plastic bag, so you can imagine how that one arrived. Luckily for me, the other one was sent in an actual shipping box, so he arrived in perfect condition three days later, thank goodness! 

I took a photo of the other Barbie Extra Mini Minis I already own, in case I never added her anywhere and then I forget I already got her. DX

Kurama Figure in Yellow - Popup

I was trolling ebay for figures and found this Kurama figure going for £17! O_O... so I just bought it off a seller with 55 rating, I was expecting to get scammed! it turned up 3 days later! /chuckles with glee. it's not even a Chinese knockoff! I'm almost sure it's an original Japanese figure, from Popup paradise by Good smile company. Enjoy.. these really bad photos O_O

I was also happy with the paint work!

And here is how big it is stood next to the Hiei figure from Abystyle (American made) that I also got today.

Oh, and I got both these figures cheep because each of their display boxes were damaged in some way... and I'm lucky that's what goes in the bin, cos I'm a tyrant! hahaha
