Finally I had an opportunity to sit down and create this urban sketch at one sitting. Was pleased to choose the grand mosque in Abu Dhabi to do my detailed sketch. In real life it is a treat and privilege to see it in the backdrops as we drive into this amazing city. Home to the louvre middle east and many other tourist attractions. I took a couple of hours to complete and as usual instead of just making an experimental piece I did it by chasing a deadline in a competitive spirit by taking part in a contest.
