literally every single time kevin and jean talk about neil they sound like a divorced couple arguing about their child...i thought it was just TSC but the first time jean meets neil 😭 even then it's giving 'you had custody! why didn't you raise him right?' 'we should accept him as he is.' 'fuck all that! he needs manners!' and neil is sitting there like why are my parents arguing about my behavior in rapid french no one but i can understand? i literally said please, i tried to be nice.

LIKE !? the most insane lineup that uve ever seen. they would walk onto a court and be the scariest group uve ever witnessed omg?? and if they let neil and andrew play w the aggression the ravens were taught? they would be killing ppl on the court!

that one scene in tsc where Jeremy calls Kevin to ask if Riko broke his hand and hurt Jean and Kevin is telling him the truth but then pulls the phone from his face and talks to someone off the phone but says “Jean is fine” as if someone asked , you CANNOT tell me that was not Neil who else would ask about Jean cuz not Andrew i js think of their “friendship” quite a little, like it’s just comforting in a way (that he asked abt jean), like after what happened to Neil at Evermore and how Jean stood around watching him get tortured he still tried to help wherever he could and Neil doesn’t hold anything against him but instead cares for him more for that and that one line where jean called Neil “his forever misplaced partner”

y’all ever think about thea muldani? do you ever think about the people she might have cut off when she joined the ravens? do you think she has a family? do you think they’re still waiting for her? will she ever try to reach out to them again? how do you think she felt when she first left the nest? did the lack of a partner nearly break her? do you think she ever feels her heartbreak as she so fiercely protects a team and teammates who so often hated her? does she lay wide awake at night and does she blame her own thoughts or the 16 hour days for that? how many ravens did she reach out to on their summer break? how many of their funerals does she attend? did she attend riko’s? did she want to attend any of them at all? what’s her breaking point? when you leave a cult there’s always going to be one. is it violent? slow or fast? is it the little things of the outside world chipping away at her? or is there one thing strong enough to set her off? just. thea muldani is one of the only ravens seen to graduate and survive outside the nest. what did that take?

Listen I 100% get why Jean couldn’t stay at PSU and obviously the Trojans are so so good for him. At the same time, I so badly want to see Andreil and Jeanee going on definitely-not-double-dates-what-are-you-talking-about because they would truly be The friend group of all time. Trauma bonding, yeah, but also unhinged “would you rather” scenarios and dry/morbid humor and the uncanny ability to read one another because they all Get It in ways that others don’t necessarily. They should at least have a group chat.

jeremy so far has been the most avoidant pov in the world because what the hell are his issues? he's not even looking directly at them he's looking around them or focusing on everyone else's issues so he doesn't acknowledge his own

like with neil there was immediate acknowledgement with the memory of his mother's burning corpse but jeremy? nothing. is it parental issues? sibling issues? self issues? why was he in therapy? did he do something? did something happen to him? who knows? he does but he's not gonna look at all that when he can look at jean instead

jeremy is neil's 'i'm fine' personified times ten thousand he's so fine he doesn't even need to say it

jean moreau and his impulsive mouth that tells everyone the trauma hes been going through when he means to hide it. jean moreau and his quick insults and rude nicknames for people he admires and loves. jean moreau and his aversion to kindness and his inability to understand that there is kindness without a price.

i literally thought about that one scene in TSC where Jean and Jeremy are in Jeans room together sitting on the bed and then Jean hears Cat starting to cook and he starts to get up but then Jeremy says “stay with me” all day

it’s not that big a deal but i somehow find it a big a deal, like it was a very cute scene😭and then Jeans saying/thinking that that was one of the first times he’s ever felt safe or comfort and i js think that means a lot
