Hey! If it’s not much to ask, how can we see platonic/friendship compatibility with astrology? I know we probably would scrap the Venus-Mars aspects, but would we consider something like Sun-Venus aspects to see possible areas of interest? Or we just stick to Sun/Moon/Rising aspects because they’re the more “what you see is what you get”? Thank you!

Okay so bearing in mind when I do these readings for people on here, I'm *heavily* simplifying it all for the sake of ease and I make a lot of generalisations, ordinarily a proper synastry reading would include everything so it wouldn't be separated like that, it would instead be one big general compatibility reading.

But generally speaking, aspects between planets with opposing energies (sun/moon and Venus/mars) do speak more on romantic chemistry than platonic, which is why I exclusively use those in the readings I do here. When I do platonic readings, rather than crossing the aspects I basically just compare same planet placements sun-sun, moon-moon, etc etc. For me I think mercury is always important regardless if it's platonic or romantic, and I think moon is very important because it shows an alignment of your inner selves. I really don't place much weight on sun or ascendant at all for these readings tbh. I do like to look at mars because it's not just sexual energy, it indicates how you express energy in general and I think having alignment between that is important. I think for me, moon, mercury and mars are my favourite aspects for platonic compatibility, but everyone will view things differently so other astrologers may well disagree!

omg as inclined as i am to say taehyung just bcs his style is the most pleasing to me personally, i have to say hoseok !! i think he's been the best and done the most in curating his own style, not that the others haven't either, i just think he's been the best at taking risks and experiementing all the while keeping a distinct hoseok-ness in all of his outfits. he has taken bold risks and made them work and as much as we tend to joke about how "out there" some of his choices were (2018 sure was a year in hoseok fashion fjgkfkg), he's never really made anything look too "tacky" or bad. interesting sure, and not for everyone, but that's what personal style is! i think he's been the best at following his whims and showing a versatile yet consistent kind of style. but i think taehyung and namjoon also have great styles too, maybe they arent as flashy with it as they used to be or as hoseok but their styles are also very distinct and well thought-out!

And I truly don’t get the whole disgust towards TikTokers, they are essentially the celebrities and models of today, the ones who are tirelessly marketing fashion (and other things) towards the masses, it actually makes a lot of sense to invite them to the MET Gala, SPECIALLY the one which the theme is American Fashion; there’s literally no way to pay more homage to the current fashion than to do this!

oh absolutely this isnt surprising to me at all. on one hand it makes complete sense, the influence some tiktokers have rn is insane, on the other hand, i do kind of get where the annoyance with influencers come from, with the way trend cycles are barely a few months long now because of fast fashion, haul videos, and the pressure to never wear the same thing, to create content and to always be jumping to the next thing etc etc. not to say that models or other celebrities dont do that, but it seems more and more common now to put the emphasis on staying "on trend" and following an aesthetic instead of curating a personal sense of style. but hey thats just capitalism babe! and you're right it could not suit the american fashion theme more lol
