What are they like when they are drunk? ( again for whoever )

Do Young: If he's with people he doesn't know, he's actually even more cautious than usual, just because the feeling of a loss of control weirds him out so much that he's even more guarded. If he's with someone he does know - especially someone like Proxy - he doesn't really act drunk, per se, but he will let things slip out a bit easier than when he's sober....although he did get absolutely hammered the night of his 21st birthday, when colleagues at school took him out drinking, and he just kept going in order to keep up appearances. He has no memory of that night, and never found out what happened from those who were with him, getting only smirks and waggled eyebrows.

Heesung: Super blunt. Outbursts at every perceived injustice. Really emotional. This holds true regardless of who's fronting, and the only difference is between whether his tirades are impassioned or angry. Of course, once he wears himself out, he's just totally out like a light.

Hyejin: Just gets relaxed. Maybe sings a bit. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

Seonhwa: She's already pretty apt to speak her mind but even more so when she's drunk. Everything just completely spills out. And I'd say she cries easily but, again, she already does that. So... so I guess it's not so much that she does anything vastly different, just that everything about her is turned up to 11.

Dong Soo: Has to actually be trying to get drunk, but when he does, it can go one of two ways: Either totally cheerful, or really quiet and contemplative. Which one is more likely depends on who he’s with, why he’s getting drunk, and where you are in his timeline.

Habseong and Willow don't get drunk, since, y'know, they're not human.

Do Young - Be patient with him. He was ridiculously sheltered from ages 13-19, and after that, even though he was out in the world, he was still tightly under the grip of the people who made him the way he is. As such, while he’s incredibly intelligent, he’s honestly very naive and clueless when it comes to day-to-day and common sense things; he needs a lot of basic things explained and broken down for him. Be willing to do that, and he’ll feel more comfortable.

Heesung (rookie) - Just be nice to him. Honestly. It’s super basic and maybe a little sad that he’d latch on to someone quickly if they showed a bit of kindness but, well, he would. He doesn’t expect it from anyone, assuming everyone knows about his past and that anyone not outright malicious would rather just ignore him, so people who are nice to him make him take notice.

Heesung (anchor) - Don’t treat him as ‘the bad side’. It’s an easy mindset to fall into, picturing the rookie and the anchor as a sort of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde setup, but reality is more complicated. They’re both human, both with their good points and bad points, and while the anchor is a bit more extreme, he’s still a full person, and wants to be treated as such.

Hyejin - Be something other than human. It’s unfortunate, but she’s afraid to give her heart to someone she might accidentally kill. She doesn’t know if she still holds the ability to take life, but she doesn’t want to risk it. Again.

Seonhwa - Accept her. All of her. The fact that she’s mute, the fact that she loves reptiles and is going to end up keeping like at least five at any given time, the fact that she does magic stuff with Daeyoung, the fact that she’s honestly a huge dork who loves plushies and Pokemon and will never grow out of it… If someone likes these things about her, she’ll feel better about opening up to them.

Habseong - Be Daeyoung. I know I said that sort of thing jokingly with Proxy and Do Young, but seriously. Whatever “heart” she has is preeeeeeettymuch owned by Daeyoung.

Willow - Be playful and adventurous. Murderyness aside, at her core, she’s both a kid who never properly grew up, and a spirit of mischief that just wants to have fun. She needs someone who will ground her a bit, perhaps, but also someone who will let loose and join her escapades and not be beholden to anything or anyone.

Okay so for one thing, he might have a ‘family’ with Minho and be pretty settled and happy, but he is not well adjusted.

-I’m gonna bring my last remaining muse, Hyejin, over to here, from her own blog at @wxngedreprxeve. She’s going to be a bit more selective, because she’s trickier to write for, but this just means I won’t, like, use her for an ask meme when muse isn’t specified. Anyone who wants to request her is welcome to do so! I’ll try to get her bio moved over here in the next day or so, but even if not, people are allowed to start requesting her in memes and such.

-Heesung has a historical verse now. I don’t know if I’ll write an actual page on it, but it goes along with Minho’s ( @manticxre / bio ), he’s the “certain man who grew embittered by Minho haphazardly taking lives of those who disagreed with him” that that bio mentions. In short, as one of Minho’s guards, he had to assist in the murders Minho ordered, but he reached his breaking point when the other man had them wipe out a peasant village for no reason besides his personal gain. For the next several years, he played along, rising through the ranks and becoming Minho’s most trusted guard, all for the sake of his revenge. Additionally, he secretly helped raise a young man from the village who managed to escape the slaughter, grooming him to aid in his plans and placing him as one of the guards under his command.

I have no idea if it’s plausible/interesting for anyone besides Minho to interact with him in this verse, but if you want to try, hit me up!

Both Do Young and Seonhwa are quick to notice that these just happen to be the initials of theother members of their immediate family, but for the sake of not being obvious:

Before the events of January 25, 2003, the events that would set Yoon Heesung down the path towards becoming the terrorist known as the Pied Piper, he had a girlfriend.

She was another student, someone he’d met at college. They’d been together for a couple years already even before he left for his military service, and it seemed as though their relationship would last even through his absence. If marriage wasn’t outright discussed, it was heavily implied and largely assumed.

When Heesung woke from his coma in 2016, the fact that his girlfriend was gone was just one loss among many. Heart-wrenching, sure, but simply another thing that the Pied Piper lost for him, alongside the rest of his friends and family. He doesn’t think about her too much, and her impact on his life kind of fell to the side.

But then ‘the anchor’ returned, and her story became significant once again.

Because the rookie can skim over that chapter in his life. He has the good parts, and while he’d like closure, the lack of it gives the whole experience a fairy tale sort of quality, something beautiful and dreamlike and unreal.

But the anchor remembers. He remembers the growing concern in her eyes once he was discharged. He remembers the gentle nudges from her to get help, to let things go; nudges which largely were ignored. He remembers with perfect clarity the day she told him he had changed, he was no longer the man he loved. How she’d be willing to try to make it work if he could stop fixating on that day. He didn’t understand then what she saw so easily. He only muttered that he couldn’t move on, that he shouldn’t, but he still loved her, and wasn’t that what mattered, and how could she ask this of him.

He remembers how much he pleaded as she walked out the door. The last memory he has of her, and it’s not even a clear one because by then his vision was blurred by tears.

As the years passed, he would often wonder if he made the right choice. He was always sure he did, but he would still wonder: What if?

In 2017, he would be sure, at least, that he could not have made a different choice. No matter what he might have said, he hadn’t been capable of letting go of the events at Newtown. He didn’t think he ever would be. But at least now he knew and understood: No one could ever love him like that again.

Heesung (rookie) - Don’t put an emphasis on his past. Much as he hates to admit it, he knows he was a domestic terrorist, even if he can’t remember it. He doesn’t need anyone to remind him. Especially since he often worries that, if he went down that path once, it could happen again. He needs someone who’s going to recognize there’s more to him than his past, and assure him that it’s his future that defines him.

Heesung (anchor) - what heart anchor has no heart Be concerned about people other than yourself. Not that they have to be constantly absurdly selfless, but just… think about the people other than themself, the people in the opposite situation, the people who might not be as well off. His terrorism days are done, but his values remain unchanged, and as much as he loathes seeing those with power over others abuse it, he loves seeing the opposite; it makes him think maybe people aren’t so terrible after all.

Seonhwa - Respect her brother. Honestly. Her brother is her favorite person, and how others treat him is a huge factor in what she thinks of them. Dong Soo immediately regrets his ‘final’ fight with Woon, and always carries guilt for the fact that he didn’t trust Woon more, and that he didn’t fight harder to find another alternative, even while being actively provoked by the other. However, this is all from his own perspective: He regrets these things because he knows he should have known better and wishes he acted differently. He was completely oblivious to the lasting effect this had on Woon until they met again and the assassin was calling him a traitor.
