To explain, well...All of them are fairly powerful in their own right. Specifics will be given under the cut as this will be a fairly long post. Also, I'd love to use this as reference for combat scenes for threads and verses where they can fit, so yeah).

(Also this post doesn't include Tahirah's own forces because that'll be a whole post on its own but hey at least you get info about Araceli, Candace and Ariel!)

Araceli's signature battle techniques involve poisoning her enemies. She might poison blades and use them against said enemies by stabbing or slashing at them, waiting for the effects to kick in. She also is a fan of using poisoned arrows too.

And then there's also her wind magic, which she can use to try to actually make others lose their breath/choke them if used in specific ways. And then there are also the snakes she has on hand most of the time, which she'll use to surround and bite/poison individual enemies.

Candace relies on illusions, and will often personalize them to her enemies - she'll make them feel like there's less vision in the area surrounding them, or that there are way more soldiers against them than there actually are.

She'll also make good use of Usama and Luciano so they can either hit the enemies with the earth somehow (Usama's power) or burn them to a crisp with fire (Luciano).

Ariel, though he has no magic, is basically the 'tank' when it comes to attack and defense - he's great at enduring a lot of attacks, defending, and counterattacking on his own with various weapons (including gloves that have short claws that can extend out of them as extra blades). He has enhanced physical senses due to his cannibalism and battle skills learned over the years, and he can even sense whether someone has magic by their scent. And once he gets a taste of their blood, he can immediately track them down more easily too.

Sometimes he'll rely on mages to do the distance-related attacks for him, other times he has archers. But at the very end, when it's obvious that the enemy's about to completely lose for sure, Ariel's more than happy to let his (cannibal) troops feed on them for dinner as a reward for their efforts.

Bollywood Movies Part CCXV: The Mollywood Takeover Part XLII

Sudhakara Kurup (Dulquer Salmaan) evades capture for years after murdering Charlie (Tovino Thomas) in an attempt to fake his death to commit insurance fraud.

Kurup is based on Sukumara Kurup's murder of Chacko with the names changed slightly and with quite a bit of fictionalization, especially with regards to what happened after the murder. It's an interesting watch and well acted. Favorite songs are Pakaliravukal (English subtitles) and Mele Theera.

Pavithran (Nivin Pauly) tries to appease his wife Haripriya (Grace Antony) by getting her a new pair of earrings, although he lies about their composition as they are gold-plated. He also takes her to a hotel in Munnar, where the (not actually) valuable earrings go missing.

Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham is very entertaining and silly. While the actual mystery involving the earrings is very compelling, the rest of antics by the various people at the hotel are fun. I really enjoyed it, especially Pavithran and Haripriya's conflict about her being a former soap star and him not yet breaking onto the screen. There are no songs.

Inspired by the original Bunty and Babli, Kunal (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Sonia (Sharvari Wagh) start a new crime spree as Bunty and Babli. Inspector Jatayu Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) is put on the case and turns to Vimmi (Rani Mukerji) and Rakesh (Saif Ali Khan) to help him catch the new Bunty and Babli.

Bunty aur Babli 2 is not a great follow up to the original. I did not mind Bunty's recast as Saif Ali Khan manages to make the role his own while still staying true to Abhishek Bachchan's performance in the first one. The story is not great and not all the actors are able to compensate for it. Favorite song is Dhik Chik (English Subtitles).

But alas, it seemed that she was wrong on both fronts.

Under her fingers, she hid the knife that nestled itself in her flesh, but blood was quick to flow out the wound. Instead of the usual red that blood tends to be, Lena bled silver-- magic manipulating the colour to physically show how potent it was. And that was what worried her.

Lena took a shaky breath before turning her head towards the voice, and she gave the familiar Sukumara a smile.

"A-Ah! Hey there, Lord Sukumara! Um, yeah. It is..." Lea huffed another laboured breath, "Um, what bring you here?? Looking for something?"

Ariel swallowed a little, grimacing at how many things Nobutsuna still had to unpack. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be there to help you at least unpack stuff.”

Nobutsuna was still in the process of unpacking, but he spoke to Ariel through one of those magical stones that Azami previously used to contact others, so that while Ariel couldn’t be physically present, at least he and Nobutsuna could still chat with each other.  “Ariel, I appreciate your concern, but I’ll be okay. And I know you’re busy with Maria, getting her set up to rule the Darya Region. How’s that going?”

Ariel offered his fellow husband a smile. “It’s good. All the paperwork is almost done. She’ll officially be taking over starting after this weekend. And even better, I heard back from Ingrid. Of Arendelle.”

“Ingrid? I haven’t heard from her in a while. She kinda disappeared after the whole fiasco with the Gurak and all.” Ingrid wasn’t present when Nobutsuna, Brent, Ariel and Tahirah got married, either, though she did send a small wedding gift of protection charms for all of them to use. 

Sukumara let a soft hum escaped him. “Tahirah was in a rush so I guess we didn’t get to tell you, but...After the engagement ball but right before we all got married, Tahirah sent Ingrid back to Arendelle with one of her top agents—to testify against the Duke of Weselton for Helga’s murder and therefore clear Ingrid’s name.”

“...Did you just say Weaseltown?”

Ariel tried not to laugh. “Weselton. Turns out he literally pulled Helga in front of him when Ingrid was defending herself against him at the time—that’s how Helga died. I don’t know how Tahirah’s agent got the evidence, but she got it.”

“Wait, what?” Nobutsuna decided he had to ask Tahirah about this later. How did she get evidence for a crime that happened so many years ago? “That’s amazing.”

“Ingrid’s niece Elsa, the current ruler of Arendelle, is grateful for the news. We’re not sure what exactly we’ll do with Ingrid now, but I’ll keep you updated—and I’m sure Tahirah will, too.”

“Interesting.” Nobutsuna heard footsteps, and he looked towards Ariel again. “I wish I could talk with you more, but I should get back to unpacking. I also think Brent is coming.”

“Of course. I’ll talk to you later.”

“See you.” The vision of Ariel vanished, just before Brent would step in. Nobutsuna turned to see his beloved husband, smiling softly at him. 

“Brent.” He moved towards him, embracing him immediately. He gave him a light squeeze, before kissing his cheek. “I’m glad you’re here...”

He had plenty of time to study and be worthy as a future Fae King, but he did not care for it. Nobutsuna taught him how to be more responsible, and thus he was doing his research. 

“I do not mind,” he smiled, placing a hand over her arm that held him in place. “What’s gotten you in a good mood Tahirah? Did Ariel Sukumara do something?”

Use the blood of others. Animal blood, maybe other people’s blood if you just went through a battle murdering other opponents beforehand, just get that all over you enough so that it’ll mask your natural scent. This will also fade over time depending on the situation but is handy in a pinch.

OOC: Sukumara is actually genuinely super sweet despite his more intimidating appearance and other traits. He can be a bit rough at the edges because of various things he does (making observations about the scent of new people he meets for example), but he does genuinely mean well and wants to know others. Unfortunately, his being a cannibal and his fearsome reputation make it difficult for him, and it doesn’t help that he’s at least a little socially awkward (though he’s working on it).
