to imitate how animate dead works in tabletop i've installed a mod that makes its summons permanent and then every morning when the wizards are setting up everything else (mage armor, longstrider etc) i have cairie fire off a couple upcast ice knives to get rid of the spell slots she would've used for reasserting control. we're finishing off act 2 now so she's amassed a nice little squad of eight skellies, kept around for the price of two third level spell slots each morning. fun fact you can cast longstrider on summons

Alas, it would not be so simple. He waited beyond the gate with brows raised for the elders to realize they would achieve nothing without him. Nyk could not abandon them, but he could give them a hell of a time.

Perhaps he ought to. That no one had seen fit to inform his…bride of the arrangement before now concerned him. He was old and accustomed to being passed around like a game piece, a bargaining chip in others’ ends. Not that using young women for the same was unusual. 🍐  :    how intelligent is my muse overall?  are they smarter than the average person,  or less than?  are they primarily self-taught,  or did they acquire most of their knowledge in school?  are they more street smart or book smart?  

Belost is surprisingly intelligent given the immature jokes and idiotic things he does. He was a very good student in school and was pushed hard by his parents- his father especially- to have good grades. It was also a requirement to enter the Merrick Prime Military Academy.

While a lot of his knowledge comes from school and from his training as a Tracker, he also has to do a ton of research into the planets he’s deployed to. As a result he’s extremely knowledgeable in planetary environments, politics, military strategy, zoology, and more. His work also requires him to develop quite a bit of street smarts- something he also learned simply from living in the planet-wide city of Merrick Prime.

Even though I can do so much more with Anika, I really enjoy my gremlin Aami a lot since she’s different because there aren’t many children muses in the fandom. Though since I love gore threads, I do like using Anika for that.

Honestly, I just want both to get more interactions. But if I had to choose, I would like more kinda child innocent threads with Aami.
