The liquid left on his hand by the harsh coughing was crimson red, and the sudden strong sense of iron made him retch. He barely had time to lean over his side before a mixture of blood and bile spilled out of his mouth. How disgusting, truly. Hopefully none of it touched the other.

“Uuugh”. His throat definitely didn’t appreciate the amazing amount of acid that left his body, and it was making it known. A few seconds later he was back coughing, though this time it didn’t bring any other liquid. That was better. Komaeda never expected to react so badly to a demonstration of violence. It would have been far better if nobody felt the need to come. How troubling it should have been for Souda.

What an eventeful night to the gambler. After playing several, if not millions, matches against people in a bar, she managed to even get two or three people in debt with her. They have no one else but to blame themselves for playing against the ultimate high roller. After stopping in a bank, she placed all the money she earned in her account, she didn’t wanted to walk around holding a huge amount of money, thiefs can be anywhere these days. While heading towards home, walking by a very dark street, filled with broken stores and poorly made houses, she sees a figure in an dark alley. Not one actually, two. It wouldn’t really care whatever they were doing until...one of them fall on the floor and is when she notices the other one had...was that a...tail?

“...” Silence was the only thing that could be heard, what an irony, taking a step back, her eyes were locked on the figure. No, that was no ordinary figure, it was crashing with her reality.

Although she knew it was childish to think so, Fukawa believed that something or someone was beneath her bed, preventing her from sleeping properly. However, this wasn’t just a blind fear or assumption, she’d actually heard various sounds coming from below her bed to make her come to such a conclusion. Unlike when she was a little girl, she didn’t have anyone to check for her, thus she has to do it herself and once she pulled up the covers, Fukawa found there to be someone there. She was so terrified, she couldn’t even scream.
