Applied at a job that paid really well and they called me today and apparently they have the same government contract as that other place that never got back to me and for reasons beyond my comprehension they apparently couldn't hire me because of that. Don't ask me what the reasons are cause I don't fucking know.

#literally the lady was like ''did you accept a job at this place?''#and i was like ''i didn't accept a job but i applied for one and did the background check stuff and they never got back to me''#abd she was like ''well this position isn't gonna work out then'' and hung up #like WHAT.#is it somehow MY fault that those fuckers never called me back?#did i somehow not pass the background check #cause last i fucking checked i was legally an american citizen born and raised #and i don't even have a criminal record cause i'm a goody two-shoes who's never even gotten a speeding ticket #i see no conceivable reason why i couldn't pass a fucking background check #but i can't think of any other fucking reason so like. what the fuck.#shut up tristan
