"Wouldn't it be more efficient to gather everyone here on one lot?" asked Aayushi. "This way, you could inform them of the current situation and explain the purpose of our gathering."
"I agree. By bringing everyone together, we can ensure that they are fully informed and motivated to work towards our common goal." Naturi chimed in. "Additionally, we could facilitate brainstorming sessions and encourage the sharing of ideas, which could lead to innovative solutions and improved outcomes, and outline their specific contributions towards building the city."
"That was my plan, but unfortunately, there were a few too many sims to have on one lot, so instead, I will visit each household throughout the week. First, I will start with you guys." Jayda explained before pausing for a minute and realising two sims were missing at this point.
"Where are Theodore and Louisa?"

Good day! I happened to go on this blog and was seized by a strong curiosity about the character Merlot Maruta this time. Kidcore and alcohol both in one character, is definitely something new. What is his real age? Please elaborate on this guy's story if you feel like it
oh my god i forgot to check this blog's notifications and this ask has been rotting for 12 days AAYUSHI IM SO SORRYYYYY. somewhat barebones cuz im sleepy hehe
so for starters, merlot is a wreck it ralph oc! the general gist is that he's a character in sugar rush, a kid's racing game. he's got a theme of wine-flavored candy! the reason for his age problems is that his age was (in-universe) retconned by developers, who initially made him a kid but aged him up because they didn't wanna make controversy around a 'kid' character being connected with alcohol.
but his appearance and voice didn't change, just his internal coding, etc, thus giving him the vibe of a grown adult trapped in a small child's body. it's mostly played for comedy but also generally makes him a very bitter guy because he feels there's nobody really on his level around because of this. in a game populated by like 80% kids lol. he vents his frustrations by being a competitive bullying little shit
he does have a regular human au, where he's still generally the same except his inability to physically age+looking very very young is just... something he was born with, and he follows the same patterns of "being an adult 'trapped in a kid's body', becoming a bitter cruel person for it", in the way that he knows he'll never be treated like an actual adult cuz of his appearance. in reality he's like, late 20s-early 30s but can very very seamlessly pass for like. 9.
his closest, and only really, confidant is my friend fig @/hatsunoid's oc colin, who's a bartender who knows merlot's secret and is one of the only people around who treats him like a 'real' adult. they get into lots of gossip. im very fond of their friendship :D
(he also made a cameo in our other friend flux's death game rp, where he was written by vie, the person i made the nocturnes with :DD fae portrayed him very well it was great)

the interview went well (i think like this after all interviews LOL) but it was so intense at the end. cause during the interview questions i was going off about my experiences and what not and then the director said he's got a couple of questions...and then he pointed to his head and said "you're smart here but what about the rest" and i thought he was actually going to body shame me, so i was preparing to be hostile and then he said "what moves you aayushi, what makes your soul move" and then proceeded to ask "how do you take care of your soul, aayushi" and i kid you not i was going to start crying...the fact that he used by name, asked me these caring (?)/ personal questions shook me very much . i answered them, and felt very heard. i don't think i'm getting the job but that interview was a lot, i realized I don't take care of my soul.....................................
#one lady on the panel recommended a book that i should read cause i was talking about my hobby of reading#and for context#the director was an indigenous elder...#i think it would've been creepy otherwise but wow

[ad_1] India after defeating Bangladesh in the final (PC: BCCI Women/X) The Indian Under-19 girls’ cricket team were undefeated while winning the first edition of the ACC Women’s U-19 Asia Cup, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In the final, they defended a target of 118 by bowling out Bangladesh for just 76. Throughout the tournament, different players stepped up at crucial moments. Gongadi Trisha was the star of the tournament with her consistent performances. She scored 159 runs in five innings, with an impressive average of 53.00 and a strike-rate of 120.45. Her contributions included two half-centuries. In the final, she played a crucial knock of 52 off 47 balls, earning her the Player of the Match award. The Hyderabadi cricketer also won the Player of the Tournament title, finishing as the highest run-scorer. Trisha had earlier contributed to India’s victory in the ICC Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup in 2023, scoring 116 runs in seven innings. In a 2022 interview with Sportstar, Trisha shared that her idol is former Indian skipper Mithali Raj. According to ESPNCricinfo, Trisha was introduced to cricket by her father at the age of two. Her becoming the top scorer in the Asia Cup is a testament to her dedication in domestic and international age-group competitions. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here India vs Bangladesh in the final of the ACC U-19 Women’s Asia Cup (PC: BCCI Women/X) Aayushi Shukla and Parunika Sisodia were India’s top bowlers in the campaign, with 10 and nine wickets respectively. Both slow left-arm orthodox spinners dominated the Bangladesh batting lineup in the final, sharing five wickets between them. Parunika was included in the WPL 2025 mini-auction held in Bengaluru last week but was not picked by any team. In the 2023 season, she was part of the Gujarat Giants squad but did not play. This domestic season, she delivered standout performances, including taking four wickets for just nine runs against Rajasthan in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. She also took two wickets in each of the four matches she played in the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy for North Zone. Some players who secured WPL contracts for the next season struggled with consistency. Mumbai Indians paid ₹1.60 crore for G Kamalini, a wicketkeeper and opening batter. Although she finished as the third-highest run-getter in the Asia Cup with 85 runs in five innings, her performances were less impactful. Skipper Niki Prasad had limited opportunities to bat or bowl but excelled as a leader. Delhi Capitals signed her for ₹10 lakh, providing her a chance to learn under former Australian legend Meg Lanning. Joshita VJ, an all-rounder, was signed by the defending WPL champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru for ₹10 lakh. However, she only played three matches in the Asia Cup, taking two wickets and batting just once. Shabnam Shakil, retained by Gujarat Giants for the next WPL season, had impressed in the previous edition by taking four wickets in four games. In this Asia Cup, she managed only two wickets in four matches, though her economy rate was an impressive 2.84.
