New Year, New Drawing. Hello, 2025!
#happy new years#new years#2025#artists on tumblr#my art#looking at my other years it's really fun to see my different takes on the same concept#last years had less pizzazz but it did have a postcard feel to it that i really like for example#and i used the shading in 2022 as a bit of inspiration bc i was having a hard time w the shading color#originally this was meant to be a watercolor but ummmmm.... we don't talk about that watercolor#(my skin is golden there)#(i don't have golden skin) (good thing i took a picture beforehand just in case)#funnily enough i'm wearing practically the same outfit (minus the white tshirt) rn as i'm queueing this. i drew it yesterday (26th)#this year imma try to learn um. how to render skin and such. it's so hard. but i believe in myself#queue tea pie#... looking at this through my phone: WHY IS THE SKY PURPLE.
