man the thing that always gets me the most about transformers is when they know each other by name. Like,, sure it hurts when they do because they knew each other pre war. But really when it's like,,, knowing someone by name because you've fought each other so many times in so many battles all during the same unending war that you know this person. Like, sometimes it's even more than just knowing their name sometimes you know this person. The characters that have playful relationships with each other that met for the first time on the battlefield. That are actively trying to kill each other, but will be sad about it and miss them when the other is gone. The ones that bond in unlikely situations just to go back to fighting as soon as the dust settles. Sometimes it's even at a time where the war has lost its point or contradicts what they were even fighting for in the first place. Where they're literally doomed to fight into extinction or.. stop. But they don't stop. Like, idk... The autobots and decepticons pretty much always end up fighting for an amount of time so large it's literally inconceivable. And at the end there's often so few of them left, and they mostly all know each other intimately and by name and like,,,

Idk this is really rambly and I'm having a bit of trouble articulating but sometimes I really stop and think about how many of them know each other specifically through fighting and it gets to me a little bit

'Not the books' - SausagePix

I was in a PixSausage mood today :}

An arranged marriage was not a gift Pix wanted for his twenty-second birthday. He knew he would have to get married one day, as any responsible ruler should. But some warning would be nice since apparently, his fiance was going to be attending his birthday party. And they were expected to get along and dance together and be a cute, perfect couple...

Yeah, NO, Pix said and locked himself in the royal library. It was locked so rarely it'd take his parents a long time to find the second key. Enough time for him to properly block the door and then find the most desolate and forgotten spot to hide and avoid the whole thing as long as he could.

"Pixy, please be reasonable, Sausage is a very nice young man, I assure you, you'll love him," his mother tried convincing him to get out as Pix tried to push a too heavy for him, even with no books, bookshelf in front of the door. 

Deciding it was just a waste o time Pix huffed and glared at the mess he made. "Then you should have told me ahead of time," he yelled and ran into the depths of the library. His new duties to do with Vigil were already a lot. Without having to add being engaged and all that came along with that. So he ran to hide as well as he can as apparently his future husband and his family approached the library. Along with, judging by the noises, his father who has found the key too quickly.

He was pretty sure he found the perfect spot no one remembered. At least judging by the amount of dust on literally everything. He did prepare a stack of books, sorry books it's for the greater good, in case he had to 'defend' himself. Not that he expected he'd have to...

"Are you Pix...AAA, not books!" That is until someone found him and he tossed at least three before he stopped. Noticing a few interesting, and scary facts in the low, magical light. 

One, the stranger was about his age, tall and muscular. And part dragon. And wore clothes not native to Pixandria. Did he just throw books at his future husband? "Go away," Pix huffed, only then noticing he had no way of escaping. "I... Go away," Pix huffed, backing as far as he could into the corner. "I have no interest in getting married..." he added on, despite being quite interested in talking to Sausage. Guy's a half-dragon, of course, Pix wants to ask him some questions. And he's like hella handsome...

Sausage was visibly saddened hearing Pix didn't want to get married. "Oh... may I ask why? In case I can fix it?" he asked, looking really pitiful, with his wings slumped and slightly wrapped around his impressive frame, tail around his ankles. Pix felt really bad being the reason behind his being sad.

Pix awkwardly stood up, still trying to keep his distance. Coughed awkwardly and decided he was probably not getting out of being married to this man so might as well try and befriend him. "It's not your fault... I kind of learned about this whole arrangement today... And may have overreacted," he said, fighting the flood of possibly inappropriate questions he wanted to ask about Sausage and his gorgeous, maroon scales with dark green sheen. At least in the dim light. "I apologise for the book throwing..." he added. Just then noticing how beautifully blue other's eyes were. And how tall he was, a head taller than Pix... A shockingly attractive thing.

"Oh... I was under the impression you knew," Sausage lit up a little bit. "I'm Mythical Sausage, future king of Mythland and... your future husband I guess," he ended with really cute, awkward laughter. "I hope we can get along..."

"Me too," PIx blurted out and let Sausage walk him out of the library. Holding the arm he was offered a bit awkwardly.

His parents were likely angry but ultimately let it pass since he seemed to get along with Sausage. Or didn't want to make a scene. Ultimately, Pix spend most of the day talking with Sausage and showing him his favourite places in the castle, they were not to leave until it was time for them to get ready for the proper party in the evening. Sausage turned out to be an excellent conversationalist and a proper gentleman. And was really warm and at all not bothered by the Pixandrian heat.

As he got ready for the ball Pix thought that maybe this whole marriage thing wasn't going to be all that bad. And maybe hoping he could sneak a kiss from his husband-to-be at some point in the night. Just because he was curious about his pointy, sharp teeth that flashed whenever he laughed.

THE HYPERFIXATION ON BLITZBEE AND MEGOP IN THE TFA FANDOM :flushed: and the hyperfixation on those characters in general lol i suppose that’s biased coming from someone who’s favorite characters are Not Those Characters but like. its so over-saturated its genuinely made me not like blitzbee as much anymore, i get so excited to see LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE at this point. the tfa tag is such a drag nowadays it makes me sad. there’s so many other interesting characters in tfa that deserve attention :((

When I started shipping them: funnily enough i can actually pinpoint this exactly because i posted on tumblr about it. jan 16th. i was like “haha martins got a crush” and then i started s3 and i was like. fuck.

My thoughts: they have such good character development and you do love to see it! really jonny did an absolutely fantastic job with them, building their dynamic and relationship, and Its About The Yearning And Loyalty. the fact that their story is not going to be used as Gay Tragedy fodder, but be the emotional core of the podcast, it so refreshing and important to me

What makes me happy about them: their love for each other, their devotion, their ability to communicate and set boundaries. how they overcame everything and found each other. 

What makes me sad about them: everything they had to overcome, including each other. the fact that it is almost certainly not going to end well for one or both of them, because this is a tragedy horror podcast.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: jon is constantly cruel to martin without any redeeming qualities or interactions, and martin pines after him anyways. their dynamic isnt that 2 dimensional and while i think its important acknowledge how jon acted in the first couple of seasons, he was more than that. this is especially important in light of the birthday tape from 161.

Things I look for in fanfic: im a fan of slowburn for any pairing but i also love just. fluff. them realizing that they See one another in a real, intimate way, and while theyre human (kinda) and will have issues, they still know that they love each other. being pillars of comfort, really.

My wishlist: my monster au that im working on, obviously. i think fake dating could be fun. im also writing that school thing i posted about yesterday. really im just way in the mood for AUs so im filtering my fic for that at the minute.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: theyre canonly together so i dont have to really worry about this BUT i like jon + any combo of tim/gerry/martin and i like martin + any combo of tim/gerry/jon. even though that cant happen in canon because. yknow. death. but.

My happily ever after for them: they stop the apocalypse and get to live to a ripe, normal age and have domestic lives largely free of the fears. maybe they adopt a kid or two. they get to be friends with the others again, and go out for drinks and no one is dead and the people who are already dead are remembered, loved, and honored. also jimmy magma dies.

I love your characterization of Hanzo! I've probably told you that before, but I do! What intrigues me, though, is the way you portray him essentially idolizing his s/o, seeing them as more of a deity gracing him with their presence and attention than his partner. Is there any particular reason for that? I feel like it could lead to an interesting exchange in a future prompt, or maybe an unfortunate abuse of power on the s/o's end.

Aaa, thank you very much for the compliment! ;u; The reason for that mostly comes from the fact that Hanzo still feels a lot of guilt due to his past wrongdoings. Even though it is not very evident in the way he acts towards others, I do think that if he would grow to love someone, it would be nagging in his head. I also don’t believe Hanzo is a cruel or unkind person, especially not if you listen to his interactions with other OW characters (aside from Genji) like I mentioned before. He seems pretty normal, albeit a bit distant, to me, which doesn’t give me much of a reason to portray him as someone who would, for example, yell at his partner out of frustration or treat them with disrespect/uninterest, which I sometimes see in certain stories (no offence to these stories of course, as they are equally as good. Everyone has their own view when it comes to portraying characters) if we talk about Hanzo in the early stages of a relationship.This man has not only been groomed to be a good fighter and leader, but with that come diplomatic strategies as well, such as politeness and charm. I’m sure Genji is not the only person in the family blessed with these social skills. Hanzo is just very much repressed in them due to his focus lying within the success of the clan and using limited words in getting what is necessary for it. Short and direct, would perhaps be better to describe Hanzo, but definitely not cold and ruthless. I can understand why people are a fan of the dominant/stoic/ and slightly aggressive Hanzo, but I honestly can’t see it very much. The man is basically in his 40′s already and probably just wants some peace more than anything. He’s had is fair share of regret and big battles, one which ended in great tragedy. He definitely has become more peaceful and stable over his years of being separated from his clan and has reflected on a lot of different matters during that time as well. 10 years is an incredibly long timespan and many things can happen during that time to a person being alone, which in my opinion, probably transformed Hanzo into being more in control of himself and at peace, for the most part at least. Like I said, his past with Genji is still sensitive, but that is very understandable, as he had been avoiding him during all those years and it is unlikely he’ll ever heal from that completely, but if I listen to his voicelines shared with other characters, I can say that I’m quite proud of the way he portrays himself and hope that he’ll at least be able to look Genji in the eye again once he is ready for that.Which brings us back to the matter of his s/o again. Being distant from them in the beginning is something I would not deny, but I can’t see him mocking them or give them distasteful looks, just because of his past and demeanor, at all. If you were to walk up to him and start a conversation, I’m pretty sure Hanzo would act like a normal person and answer any questions you might have, with a lot of formality as well, which gives his man his charm to be honest. He would most definitely be unknowing of this, which makes him bad at picking up hints. However, through time and enough reassurance as well as building a stable friendship to build on, I do think that even this man would like to have companionship and maybe even a new family to be honest. He would want to put his past behind himself at some point too, so the nightmares would stop tormenting him and would not waste a chance at finding a suitable new path to walk on. It would take time getting close to Hanzo yes, but I don’t think he’d push people away by force? I don’t know, he’s a rather sad man on the inside which has numbed his emotions for a big part and would mostly just go with whatever flow someone would be in, as he would get used to having company again after some time and probably enjoy it quite a lot too. So, I don’t see him giving that up after getting it while having been lonely for so long. No matter how distant people can be, humans have a natural need for being social with others and I believe the same goes for Hanzo, even though he’s very skilled at hiding it. Deep down, I do think the man feels quite lonely at certain times (especially around the holidays). He would appreciate it if his s/o gave him some space if he needed to reflect on himself again though, but then again, wanting space in a relationship now and then seems pretty normal to me to be honest.When it comes to his s/o possible making use of him because of his self loathing, perhaps that would work for a while, but then again, Hanzo has a lot of pride even with his tragic past. I think he won’t let someone take the higher ground on him, as he’s not a very sensitive man (not in the sense of getting bullied or yelled at at least). After all, he has survived on his own for 10 years, so I don’t think he’d have trouble throwing someone toxic out the door. He can fall back on himself, which is also a strength of his, but it would hurt him on the inside though. He’d probably feel rather bad at the start and would be sensitive to manipulation, but to a certain extend. Hanzo can sense easily if he’s being made use of and would confront his s/o rather quickly about it and voice his discomfort, so they probably wouldn’t be able to keep it up for long, unless they’re professionally skilled at being incredibly disturbing, like Talon’s level of manipulation for example. It would still be quite sad though in the early stages, as Hanzo would try harder for his s/o if they started humiliating him and probably be more quiet around them, but breaking this man completely would be hard in the end. I don’t think he’d allow that either.It would definitely be an interesting twist though! But I rather not think about it too much for my poor Hanzo, he deserves all the love and peace after all And wow, this became waaay too long, I’m very sorry! I got carried away with these little headcanons ^^; Thank you for sending in your thoughts though!
