jenny  does  not  like  pet  names  unless  they’re  from  certain  people,  like  people  she’s  friends  with  /  dating  /  crushing  on.  basically  if  it’s  from  a  stranger  or  smth  she’s  not  that  close  to  like  that  she’s  more  ://///  usually  she’ll  specifically  tell  them  to  stop,  however  sometimes  she  just.  lets  them  for  absolutely  no  reason  and  i  actually  don’t  know  why.

abilities  jenny  has  (  based  on  the  book  who-ology;  regenerated  ).  most  of  these  they  aren’t  aware  of,  and  they  only  start  to  learn  more  about  what  they  can  do  when  they  meet  their  dad  again.  as  far  as  jenny  knows  before  that  however,  they  just  have  prenatural  speed  and  reflexes,  can  sense  danger,  doesn’t  need  to  sleep,  and  is  stronger  than  most  humans.

i  just...  i  just  like  using  and  finding  parallels  between  the  doctor,  jenny,  and  anger.  like...  fathers  and  anger  give  me  so  many  jenny  vibes.  because  like,  the  doctor  is  sure  as  hell  not  harmless,  we’ve  seen  them  angry.  multiple  times.  they’re  just  a  pacifist.  meanwhile  jenny  is  also  not  harmless  and  doesn’t  like  using  violence  as  a  first  resort,  but  she  will  use  it  far  earlier  than  her  parental  figure.  like  far  far  earlier.

i  think  jenny  should  be  more  worried  when  people  point  deadly  weapons  at  her,  but  in  all  honesty  she’s  just  like  🤷🏻,  i’m  sure  it’s  fine.  yeah  i’ve  been  shot  before,  but  i  turned  out  just  fine,  why  do  i  need  to  worry?

on  one  hand,  jenny  does  understand  that  her  dad  cares  for  her,  but  on  another,  she  can’t  reconcile  that  fact  with  how  he  acted  when  she  was  first  created,  like  she  wasn’t  a  person,  like  he  didn’t  want  anything  to  do  with  her.  especially  before  she  sees  him  again,  there’s  that  part  of  her  that’s  worried  about  what  his  reaction  to  her  being  alive  is  gonna  be.

anyways  it’s  very  easy  tbh  for  jenny  to  crush  on  someone?  like  she  doesn’t  really  have  a  ‘type’  in  terms  of  physical  appearance,  she  can  easily  find  someone  pretty  but  it’s  more  how  they  act  and  what  kind  of  a  person  they  are  that  actually  makes  her  fall  for  them.  

granted,  then  it  gets  complicated  when  she  actually  has  to  acknowledge  the  feelings  and  that’s  where  a  lot  of  problems  start.  because  first  of  all,  she  won’t.  she’ll  just  push  it  off  constantly,  or  pretend  it’s  not  romantic  feelings  she  has  for  a  person,  and  even  if  she  does  there’s  always  this  part  of  her  that  thinks  that  the  only  thing  she’s  capable  of  is  being  a  soldier.

jenny  is  new  to  most  things.  she  was  created  an  adult,  and  she  was  given  the  ability  to  write  and  read  and  fight  and  kill  but  she  was  created  a  soldier.  a  soldier  on  a  planet  that  lost  countless  generations  a  day  to  a  war  that,  to  them,  felt  like  it  had  been  going  on  for  centuries.  she  wasn't  meant  to  survive  the  day  or  the  week.  she  wasn't  meant  to  refuse  orders  and  take  a  bullet  for  the  person  her  dna  came  from.  so  knowledge  that  most  adults  have  when  they  reach  their  twenty's?  she  doesn't  have  that.  she has  battle  tactics.  and  fighting  styles.  she  has  multiple  forms  of  martial  arts  and  how  to  use  a  gun  and  basic  first  aid.  but  she  doesn't  know  what  candy  is.  or  how  money  works.  or  what  a  dog  looks  like.  or  countless  other  things  until  she  actually  reaches  earth.  and  even  then  for  a  lot  of  it  she  flounders.

me,  realizing  jenny’s  idea  of  personal  boundaries  doesn’t  quite  extend  to  things  like  “  don’t  climb  the  tall  person  like  a  tree  in  order  to  see  things  better.  ”

jenny  desperately  needs  to  believe  that  people  can  still  be  good,  even  if  they’ve  done  bad  things.  even  if  everyone  else  looks  at  them  and  thinks  they’re  evil  and  malicious.  because  otherwise  . . .  what  chance  does  she  have?  that  is  the  reason  she  can  look  at  people  like  loki  or  people  like  him  and  still  believe  that  they  can  learn  to  be  better  with  help.

friendly  reminder  that  jenny  is  hyper  independent,  partially  due  to  the  fact  that  she  was  the  only  person  she  felt  she  could  rely  on  to  keep  herself  safe.  this  has  created  a  mindset  of  ‘  i  don’t  need  anybodies  help,  and  i   can  and  must  do  everything  myself.  ’  kind  of  attitude.  combined  with  her  need  to  help  people,  she  often  finds  it  very  hard  or  even  impossible  to  accept  help  when  it’s  being  offered,  and  will  almost  never  ask  for  help  unless  she  really  needs  it.
