Attack on Prime Halloween Anthology: Werewolves
Main Story   Â
Okiku
The Rake
Red Death Â
“Eight more days, eight more days,” Jean muttered as they sat around the bonfire.
“You guys are cowards,” Hanji declared, “Except for Mikasa,”
“Mikasa’s got issues!” Connie declared.
“We all do,” Mikasa insisted.
“Yeah, normal trauma against titans!” Sasha retorted.
“Is this something that needs to further be discussed?” Optimus asked them in his holoform. They all looked at each other nervously before turning back to Optimus.
“Let’s just listen to the story,” Eren insisted.
Optimus clearly didn’t buy the answer, raising an eyebrow with suspicion, but he decided not to push the matter and turned his attention to the fire. “A long time ago, a bounty hunter had made his way into a small town after hearing stories of a creature terrorizing the town. The mayor of the town had explained that every full moon, a monster would appear from out of the woods and devour livestock and people. If the bounty hunter agreed to hunt down the creature, he would be paid handsomely.Â
The bounty hunter knew what this creature was, and agreed to the terms, but only if he was given a silver bullet to slay the creature. The bounty hunter was given a silver bullet crafted by the blacksmith to kill the creature. The bounty hunter then waited in the center of town until night had fallen. When the full moon had risen, he saw the creature. It was a large, grotesque monster, standing on its hind legs. The creature was covered in fur and growled at him with sharp red eyes. It bared it’s teeth at the bounty hunter and extended his claws. This was no ordinary beast, this was a werewolf: a human that turns into a wolf at the sight of the full moon to devour all that came its way.
The werewolf had gone to attack the bounty hunter sitting in the town square, but he wasn’t there. The bounty hunter had merely left his items out to lure the werewolf into a trap. The bounty hunter hid at a higher vantage pointed, aimed his gun to fire the silver bullet, and pulled the trigger. But nothing happened. He tried again and again, but the click of the gun had alerted the werewolf to his presence. The bounty hunter had no choice but to retreat.
The bounty hunter had examined the bullet and realized the bullet was tampered with. The gun was never meant to go off. The bounty hunter surmised that the blacksmith was the werewolf, and he was arrested, leaving his wife and daughter devastated. However, the mayor did not pay the bounty hunter his reward as he did not kill the werewolf, and ordered the man to leave the town. The bounty hunter did not wish to start a fight and chose to leave peacefully.
The blacksmith was kept in prison for a month, but he did not confess that he was the werewolf. The town had decided to bound him and put him on display for everyone to see his transformation under the full moon before he was executed. When the moon shone down, the blacksmith did transform into a werewolf, but so did his wife and daughter, taking everyone off-guard. They began to slaughter the people left and right and devour them. The townsfolk could only flee, fight, or be devoured in their carnage as they destroyed the town. And as the town burned to the ground, the bounty hunter merely continued walking on into the night, not even bothering to look back.”
“...That’s pretty messed up,” Connie declared.
“Why does a werewolf transform at a full moon?” Hanji asked, “Can’t it transform at any other time.”
“That I do not know,” Optimus answered, “I just know that is one of the many popular tropes of werewolves. Like vampires, they are quite popular on Earth.”
“See, a werewolf sounds much more interesting than a vampire,” Sasha proclaimed, “At the very least I can eat meat.”
“People are still considered under meat for the werewolf,” Armin reminded.
“Still the better option,” Sasha proclaimed.
“But why would the bounty hunter leave?” Eren demanded, “The people were in danger and the werewolves were destroying the town. Why would the bounty hunter not help?”
“Self-preservation,” Optimus answered, “The bounty hunter did not have the means to kill the werewolves, and the mayor no doubt had some awareness of the blacksmith’s deception. He had no money and little resources. He was not going to risk his life in a situation he would not win. He just wanted to survive.”
Eren couldn’t help but feel angry at the response. What a selfish and terrible thing to do, but then he thought about Annie. Annie had always stated she was looking out for herself. That she wanted to survive. Even though he hated Annie for betraying them, he did...understand her. Just a little.
“That’s still pretty fucked up,” Levi commented.
“How did they become a werewolf in the first place?” Mikasa asked, causing Sasha to groan.
“That has quite a few answers that mainly centers around being bitten by another werewolf,” Optimus answered.
(Wow. I was having trouble finding a werewolf story because there weren’t any origin stories. Luckily I found this video, so be sure to check it out.)

A Fiery Connection - Sadie Adler
Gif Credit
Request:Â Hi, can you make a one-shot where the male is the last true alpha werewolf, is immortal and have no weaknesses? One day reader in his territory at night hears gunfire go off. The reader hears it and runs to the sound he arrives to see Sadie being overwhelmed by kkk members reader quickly kills them. He disappears leaving Sadie shocked, and frightened. Then she tries to find him to thank him.
Word Count: 1,161
Warnings: Violence, I hope it isn’t too violent.
Pronouns: He/Him
A/N: Thanks for the request! This was really fun to write, hope you enjoy it! Nothing like bonding over a pile of dead kkk members.
The sun was setting, and there will be a full moon tonight. You chose this night to go through with your plan to take out the Lemoyne Raiders for good. They have been terrorizing the town for far too long and hurting too many innocent lives.
You could already feel the transformation beginning, you took a deep breath and went through your plans again before nightfall finally settled.
The Raiders were going to rob a train on its way to Saint-Denis, you planned to hide in the trees until they arrived, making sure to leave a couple of them alive so they’ll lead you back to their camp.
When the time finally came, you walked out of your cabin. But then you heard something. It sounded like preaching and cheering, listening in closer, it quickly turned sour. The cheering turned into yelling and gunfire.
After changing into your wolf form you ran in that direction and saw a burning cross, getting closer you saw the notorious hooded figures going after a woman. You heard of these figures from the local townsfolk; they were a horrible group. There were a lot of them, but the woman was fighting back vigorously. She wasn’t afraid of how outnumbered she was, until when her gun ran out of bullets. She pulled out her knife and began lunging at her next attacker, stabbing him in the chest.
You charged towards two of the hooded figures, digging your claws in their necks. The other members turned and looked at you in shock and horror. They all stopped in their tracks and watched as you ripped their brethren apart. You run towards the others and kill them effortlessly until there’s one left.
Looking over at the woman, you saw a man in black robes coming up behind her. He hits her on her ribcage and pushes her to the ground. She drops her knife during the assault and grunts when she lands on the dirt, her hand holding onto her left side.
The man in the black robes charges at you with his weapon held above his head, you let go of the bodies and jump to the man. You knock him down when you land and hover over him. You remove his hood and snarl in his face.
“Please…” The man starts, he’s trembling in fear. “Don’t hurt me…”
You roar at him and attack.
When you finish with him, you look over at the woman. She’s frightened and clumsily backs away from you, clutching her side the whole time. You see her knife on the ground, you walk over to it and gently place it in front of her, she grabs it and points it at you. You expected her to do it, so you back away from her and stare at her for a moment. A train rumbles in the distance, and you remember your previous plans. You huff and run to the train, leaving her behind.
Sadie looked around, and she couldn’t believe what just happened. What were you? Why didn’t you attack her? Everyone around her was mauled to death by you.Â
What the hell were you?
She braces herself against a tree and tries to get up. She had to get back to camp before anything else happened.
The next morning, she sat by the water with the log against her back. She couldn’t stop thinking about the night before. Especially your eyes, they were red. Who has red eyes?
“Would you like a cup of coffee?" Â
Sadie looked up and saw Abigail holding two mugs. She smiled and accepted the cup.
"You’ve been quieter than usual, something wrong?” Abigail asked. Sadie looked at Abigail, debating whether she should tell her or not.
“Something weird happened last night.” Sadie began explaining everything to Abigail. From the confrontation with those men to you handing her the knife even if it meant attacking you with it. At the end of Sadie’s story, all Abigail could do was look at her confused with her mouth agape. But then she remembered something the other girls were talking about.
“That fits with what Karen was talkin’ about with Tilly and Mary-Beth yesterday,” Abigail said.
“What?”
"She was talkin’ about this wolf-man that protects Lemoyne, he lives in a cabin somewhere in the middle of the woods,” Abigail takes a sip of her coffee and continues, “Karen said that he’s the last of his kind and has those glowin’ red eyes you were talkin’ about. But, I just thought she was tryin’ to scare the girls.”
Sadie looked down, she wondered if she should find you.Â
You woke up this morning, and your entire body ached. You were on the floor in your living room, covered in blood from the night before. Your plan to destroy the Lemoyne Raiders was successful, but the only event on your mind was that woman. You wondered if she got home safe, you should check it out.
After cleaning yourself up, you went to the area you found the woman last night. The bodies were still around. The putrid smell filled the air around you, and you knew that you had to get rid of them before anyone discovered it.
You gathered the bodies into one pile and gathered the materials to set them on fire. That’s when you heard hooves.
You hid behind a tree and waited to see who was around. The hooves stopped, you glanced to see who was on the horse and saw it was the woman from last night.Â
Slowly, you came out of hiding, and she saw you immediately, pulling a gun on you. “I didn’t mean to scare you,“ You put your hands up, "I’m not going to-”
“Who are you?"Â
”(Y/N), You?“
"What are you doing here?” She walked a couple of steps towards you.
“I think you know why I’m here.” You nodded towards the pile of bodies.
“It’s you, from last night.” She lowered the gun a little bit, “But you look…different…I guess I should have expected that”
You smiled and snorted at her response.
“Listen, I’m glad you’re here. I wanted to-” she sighed and put her gun in her holster, “I wanted to thank you, for saving me. I don’t know what you are, but that doesn’t change what you did.”
You raised your eyebrows at her, no one has ever sought you out to thank you before. You weren’t sure what to say
“Um…” You lowered your hands. “I’m relieved you’re okay.”
She smiled at you shyly and looked over at the bodies.
“I’m Sadie. Do you need any help?”
You nodded and handed her a bottle and some cloth. After lighting the first cloth, you looked over at Sadie who was waiting for you to throw it.
“Why don’t you throw the first one?” You handed your bottle to her and she accepted it.
“Thanks, (Y/N)”
She threw the bottle, watching it burn the people who attacked her.

Amazon’s Lore Season 1, Episode 5: “The Beast Within” Directed by Darnell Martin Written by David Coggeshall
* For a recap & review of the previous episode, “Passing Notes” – click here * For a recap & review of the Season 1 finale, “Unboxed” – click here
5th century. A man, Patricius, walked by himself on a lonesome road spreading the gospel. Pagans weren’t particularly “receptive to the teachings of Christ.” They had their god: the wolf. So nobody in Ossory cared. They even attacked Patricius. But suddenly one of the pagans changed from a man to a beast. The “unnatural metamorphosis” spread around the village. However, when all the men became beasts they didn’t kill Patricius, they killed their leader. The Irishman ran off, spreading word of what he saw. This is the man we now know as Saint Patrick. During the 15th and 16th centuries, Europe thought itself plagued by the werewolf in certain places. Late 1500s in Bedburg, Germany, townsfolk were vanishing, never seen again. Everyone feared the worst, going on about their days however they could so as not to think about the threat always lurking. Jens Hetfelderz (Clark Moore) and his daughter Greta (Callie Brook McClincy) lived in fear awaiting the day they might encounter the mythological creature. Soon enough, the daughter was attacked, though escaped and lived. “Clinical lycanthropy” is a rare psychiatric disorder. It makes sufferers believe they’ve turned into an animal: howling, clawing, et cetera. There’s also the folklore of men who turn into wolves, attacking the unsuspecting. Werewolves, in many tales, didn’t have tails, identifying them as such a beast. And of course, Red Riding Hood herself, the story everyone knows. Certainly as we go back further and further, the story gets more gruesome than the sanitised version we’ve all heard or told to children. When Greta (Cassady McClincy) grew a little older, the town was still feeling the wrath of the fabled werewolves. One town leader Peter Stubbe (Adam Goldberg), tried to keep people vigilant, as he worried for the safety of everyone around him. Believing the werewolf a “creation and servant of the Devil.” That night, Greta’s friend Celeste (Chloé Aktas) comes upon an injured man calling from the woods, her lover Nils (Colton Medlin) running to check on him. But she finds only terror after he doesn’t come back: Nils is impaled, and she’s slashed across the chest by a hairy claw. The girl’s screams alert the villagers. In Gévaudan, a French province, during 1764 and 1767 killings occurred that were inexplicable. Women and children had their heads crushed, they were decapitated. Descriptions said it was a large wolf, a “dog–dragon hybrid,” and other things. Naturally the Church said it was God’s punishment, just like the Republicans tell you today when a hurricane hits. You can read more about the hunt for the beast here. Bedburg all came together, trying to keep their strength as a community in the face of grim deaths, especially of people so young. Jens was intent on killing the beast, and Stubbe only wants the families to take care of one another, to survive. The father worries deeply about his daughter, so Stubbe extends an invitation to let the girl stay with him while the beast is hunted. Only problem was that Stubbe was the beast himself. Now with the girl all alone. He brought her to the cellar, where he kept the skulls of victims, where he cooked and ate a bit of human meat, boiled heads. All that stuff, and pre-Dahmer by a long shot. Lucky for Greta, her father showed up in time to fend off the wolfman. The village figured out his awful secret. New York. Summer of ’77. The .44 Caliber Killer was out gunning people down in the streets. Killing relentlessly, mainly women in parked cars with brown hair. Yes, the “Son of Sam.” The one we know now as David Berkowitz. He wrote to police, taunting, threatening, crazy as hell. People were terrified of the monster stalking them. Great inclusion of a clip involving a night of a full moon, when people saw the killer, and were able to identify him. A demon living in his neighbour Sam’s dog commanded him to kill, he said. In late October, 1589, the townsfolk watched the torture of Stubbe in the town square. They ask for his confession. He tells of a deal with the Devil as a boy. He was given the power of the wolf. He fed on animals, then later men, even his own son. Operating much as a modern day serial killer, approaching as a “kind man” and luring people in, many of them women. Like a werewolf Ted Bundy. Stubbe was sentenced to death – tied on a wheel, flayed a little, his arms were broken, his legs, and after all that he was decapitated. His head was fixed on a pike. Skip to Paris in 1937. Eugen Weidmann, a German in France, was arrested for murder. He was accused of killing six people. He was plastered across the newspaper, his trial known around the world. They sentenced him to be killed via guillotine, out in public. This was a way to supposedly deter criminals (see: Michel Foucault’s “Discipline and Punish” for an amazing historical look at public execution, et cetera). So, people turned out in front of the prison to watch, everyone eager to watch a man get his head lopped off. It’s said women dipped handkerchiefs in the blood as “mementos.” Guillotine executions happened in France until 1977, but inside the prison instead of outside. People have viewed the execution over 1,000,000 times in the last decade online; yes, there’s an old recording. Still, no matter how many they kill, people still kill, people are continually sentenced to death. Because the beast is within man himself (and I say man because women rarely do horrible shit like men). Another of my favourite episodes in this series. A great Season 1, with a bunch of amazing stories. Truly a special series. “Unboxed” is the finale, coming next.
