"I don't think I would be who I am without you."

A very short FluffyNight drabble to celebrate reaching 350 followers! This was briefly skimmed through & written in one sitting! Happy reading!

"I don't think I would be who I am without you."

The statement catches Ccino off guard, suddenly hearing Nightmare's voice in the previously quiet café, & it causes him to look at Nightmare. He waits for him to continue speaking, but apparently that was all Nightmare planned to say.

"Is that a bad thing?" Ccino prompts the other, setting down the rag he had been using to wipe down the counter & turning to fully face Nightmare.

Nightmare doesn't respond for a while, just staring at the cup in his hands. Ccino is about to repeat his question when Nightmare interrupts him.

"I don't know." Nightmare practically sighs as his sockets close, hands clenching around the cup just enough to be noticable. After a few more moments, he opens his sockets again & glances over at Ccino. "But I don't think so."

Ccino stands still for a minute & processes what the other said, smiling softly as he picks the rag back up to continue his cleaning.

"I'm glad I could be here for you, then."
