Hello! I I was so excited to see you were doing this event! I knew immediately I’d want to request MSR 🎶, but I’m sending this last-minute because I had a very hard time choosing between lyrics! (You’d think there wouldn’t be many songs for these guys, but my MSR playlist is quickly getting out of hand.) I’m going to go with The Tortured Poets Department, specifically “You’re in self-sabotage mode, throwing spikes down on the road, but I’ve seen this episode and still love the show. Who else decodes you, and who’s gonna hold you like me?” (A very close second was the final chorus of True Blue by boygenius.)

You always have such beautiful analysis in the tags so I don't want to spoil that, but I can explain all the choices I made for the shots later hehe I did want to make one note though — for the first gif, the original clip I wanted to use was Mulder's finger on the trigger in Anasazi when Scully shoots him, but it just didn't work in terms of how the gif looked so I chose a different (but similar) shot. But it makes it less "self-sabotage" so I wanted to explain lol
