Finally got my dna test so I finally know my precolonial ancestry woo :)
#everyone who’s living on my dad’s side was born in bermuda which…. has no indigenous people it’s pretty much only populated bc it used to b#a slave trading post or something. anyways apparently we’re from west Africa originally#nigeria specifically#depressing as hell to think about the displacement from there but it’s nice to know finally
