Pride OCs
For pride month I thought I'd talk about the sexuality and gender identity of some of my OCs, starting with the queer characters of Chrissie's of London! See Silas Chrissie here.
Next, we have the internet's boyfriend, Jacques de Éloïe.
picrew
demisexual - panromantic - cisgender (he/him)
Jacques fell in love with his friend Silas almost as soon as they met, when they were eighteen. Nobody else before or since has really inspired sexual attraction for Jacques to the same extent. However, when he finds friendship in Loretta, he falls in love with her through the proxy of Silas.
Jacques doesn’t think of himself as ‘sexual’ much at all - certainly not in the way that Silas is - but rather, experiences sexual attraction only through his deep personal connections. For Jacques, the connection matters far more than the gender of his partner.
In bed, Jacques is a natural service top, highly focused on making his partners feel safe and looked after. Growing up in the Inverse, he never strongly identified with any gender roles - he does identify as male, but could be considered agender.

what he said:
I want to wedge him open like an oyster, poke at those tender, writhing parts and figure him out - taste him, care for him, put him back together again. I think he deserves that, at least.
what he meant:
this man needs his dick sucked as therapy and by god I'm going to be the one to do it

A CONTINENTAL CRIMINAL IN LONDON TOWN?
The Inquirer has reported previously on Silas Chrissie, infamous London hotel owner, and the curious and, it could be said, injudicious company he keeps. Most curious of all is the unaffiliated Frenchman, Jacques de Éloïe.
Monsieur de Éloïe has little known history - what the Inquirer does know, is that Monsieur de Éloïe and Mr Chrissie attended Keble College, Oxford, together until 1913, and thereafter both served in the 2nd Ox and Bucks regiment during the Great War. It remains to be revealed how Monsieur de Éloïe, a French national, came to serve in the British Army, but his close friendship with the heir to the Chrissie fortune surely must have helped.
And a close friendship it is, indeed. Monsieur de Éloïe, of no fixed address, has been spotted at the Strand hotel frequently since Mr Chrissie took the business over from his father. A curious regular guest, especially considering that Monsieur de Éloïe appears not to have any official role among the staff at the hotel. Are we to assume, then, that Monsieur de Éloïe is just one of Mr Chrissie's bevy of gentleman callers, and their friendship is, perhaps, more than it appears?
But, it is not the place of the Inquirer to speculate on the nature of their relationship, nor the manner in which Monsieur de Éloïe earns his income. Readers must surely remain curious, however, over his origins, why he left his native France, and why no record of his name seems to exist before he enrolled at Oxford.
Mr Chrissie, in addition, seems to have befriended a stray dog - a brown deerhound - that frequents the bin store of the hotel. Reportedly, he has been spotted speaking to this dog as though it can understand him. It is little wonder, then, that Mr Chrissie's shareholders worry over his mental state and the unconventional company he keeps: the East-End accountant, the Frenchman with a soupçon of criminality, and a street mutt appear to be his closest friends and confidants. Who can blame them?]
Weird that nobody has seen the dog and Jacques in the same place at the same time. And yes, I did use the 'old-timey cowboy' picrew, don't @ me, he's perfect.
