i think the reason obx season 1 and 2 were so good is because between all the action there were still a good amount of moments where the pogues were just hanging out and having fun

season 3 lacks a lot of those moments and i think that’s why it just doesn’t hit the same

in my professional opinion you should watch all of the one piece movies because they are all filled with different character shenanigans and neat slice of life stuff

e.g. I'm watching adventure of nebulandia and usopp and franky were having a contest to shoot little stuff floating in the ocean. usopp won, and robin was like "damn" while she's sun-bathing with nami, flicking a coin to her, then she chided franky for losing three times in a row.

like?? that's so cute??? the contest and robin betting on franky every time while nami always bets on usopp! meanwhile sanji is in the kitchen cooking for everyone and luffy is just sitting alone at the kitchen table waiting for the very exact second the meat is done and getting on sanji's nerves.

and all of the movies have these little details! it's so good! it's so nice to see the characters just existing together in a moment outside of Plot Stuff.

who cares if the movies are "good" or even canon? enjoy a fun little side adventure with the strawhats, whydon'tcha? 😁

For real though I think what they did with Sasuke's arc was one of the most baffling fucking things I've ever seen. "Actually. Your brother who carried out a genocide loved you :( he only put you in the Torment Nexus for several days because uhhh he wanted you to hate him and not find out about the government who ordered it. Everything he ever did was actually to protect you. And Uchihas are actually kinda rotten anyway so it's good an entire GROUP OF PEOPLE died. Don't think about any babies or children who were also slaughtered btw uhh nope all of them were bad."

Thank goodness that Evil Sasuke killed the three Bad Government Officials before that point, though. We had this whole theme going about toxic structures, cycles of abuse, and how oppressive regimes can propagate themselves even when a leader is well-meaning... but, like, Naruto REALLY wants to be Hokage, so actually if you just kill these Three Bad Governors it's gonna be fine.

There is no need for systemic change. Slave castes and child soldiers are fine. It's ok as long as the president is blonde :)

no spoilers but man. dav is far from perfect but it's also like all the best parts of origins and da2. the companions are all WILD in the best way and i honestly love solas' role in the game so much more than i thought i would

ofc i had to continue my tradition of human mage to start off the canon worldstate. some very lightly spoiler-y nasrin rambling beneath the cut!

they were just a Baby when the game started!! young and dumb and happy, very "do it for the vine" at first. by the end they're still a Baby but like. with trauma and a boyfriend.

davrin and bellara are their best friends, they never quite mesh well with neve, and they flirt constantly with taash until the first talk with their mother, at which point nasrin realizes "oh wait you need a friend not sex." they're also v good friends with emmrich bc he showed up and they said "hey pls teach me magic i only spent like 3 years in the circle before the whole system collapsed"

(def gonna write a fic where he assumes they mean like. ~resonant energy for advanced mages~ or some shit. and they're like "no i need magic 101")

they romanced lucanis "how the fuck do i stab a cloud" dellamorte but i was really torn between him and bellara for nasrin. so next playthrough is bellara smoochin time!!

I went from "they're not even friends just respect each other" to "they're kind of friends", "they're closest to the best friend either of them has" to "they're like when characters describe each other as opd friends and it makes them sound like raging homosexuals but they're not actually gay for each other" and finally to "they're literally platonic life partners in another AU" and "what if they kissed (platonically)" about Priska and Norel in like. A month. Tops. With the last stages happening just in the past 3 days. How did I get here.

what is your favourite clois scene?

I honestly love all their interactions so much that I couldn't even decide on my top five, so I'll just talk about their opening scene in booster because I keep thinking about it and it really captures one of the main reasons I love them so much.

So they're both in transitional periods of their lives, with Clark trying to create a new persona for himself and Lois working towards a promotion, and they're just so... invested and supportive about it?? Lois is helping Clark with his body language and reassures him because he's feeling insecure but then he's like "forget about ME Lois you're up for that promotion!!!" and you can see on his face how proud and excited about it he is like, he's really her biggest cheerleader and I'm😭😭😭

They're best friends and they're in love and above all else they just genuinely want to see each other thrive and be happy and grow into the best versions of themselves and it makes me want to collapse on the floor in tears.
