*I look at the stack of romance novels I have traded off from Elrond. All of their pages describe wonderful fairytale dreams of men with their princes that captivate my imagination. It is stories such as those that describe love blooming even in to most stifling situations that brings me hope for my own future.*

*My thoughts then shift to Elrond. I'm sure he is like the playful gentlemen I often read about. I think of his sweet playful nature. Suddenly I am inspired to write.*

Elrond- *He follows me to my special spot with his hand in mine. My light-hearted excitement has him chuckling* Dearest, what's this about? Why so eager?

Adar- *I look over my shoulder after releasing a happy uruk trîl.* Truly, do I need a reason? *My voice carries hints of seduction.*

Elrond- Behind you *he smirks mischievously, announcing his presence before yanking me into a hug from behind.*

Adar- *When he pushes my head to the side and trails kisses down my neck, I can already feel my pûr rising. A small hitched breath escapes me with each kiss.*

*I willingly allow him to pull me into the grass near the hives*

Elrond- So is this going to be a habit for you? *He cups the side of my face, then gently caresses my cheek with his thumb.*

Adar- *Despite the fear creeping in the back of my head, I remind myself of who I'm with. I still flinch beneath his touch, but his sweet smile is reassuring. I then feel myself settling under his feathery touch. Only now does his question register* Habit, of what? *I ask confused*

Elrond- *He begins to chuckle, licking my nose as he remembers it is the equivalent of lovers' kissing in my culture.* A habit of looking so lovely in the sunlight.

Adar- *I scoff, unable to hide my shy smile, though I still try to brush his words away.* That's ridiculous. *I roll my eyes with my blush rising*

Elrond- Is it no more ridiculous than the men you read about in those books I lend you? *He chuckles, pulling me back into his arms as I attempt to lift.* Mm... No, I don't believe I'm finished with you yet. *He chuckles playfully, showering my face and neck with kisses and licks.*

Adar- *I giggle in return, unable to keep the bright expression off my face.*

Elrond- *He smirks, mischievously trailing a hand to my side while I'm distracted. Then tickles the area above my hip.*

Adar- You horrid brat! *I yelp, then explode into laughter. My laughing echoes through the forest, and I can't help but succumb to his playful attacks.*

Elrond-*He chuckles dominantly before straddling my stomach. Soon, he pins my wrists above my head. He leans down to kiss me before wiggling my nose between his fingers.* I know. But if I'm a brat, I suppose that makes you my brooding little pet. *He chuckles playfully. Then he dips down for another lick across my lips, this time.*

Adar- *I attempt to huff, but all that comes to me is a pouty trîl. A submissive whimper follows* So... What about it? *I finally managed to huff.*

Elrond- It's rather cute. I love that about you. Especially when I can break your brood with antics like this! * He grins still, keeping me pinned in place before showering my sides with his tickling free hand.*

Adar-* Before I have time to respond, I am cut off by my laughter as I squirm beneath him. I have to admit it is very difficult to find myself upset around him.* You sneaky bastard! *I shout between gasping breaths*

Elrond- I believe we have established that already long ago! *He chuckles, gracing me with a break to breathe. He pulls me into his arms, then presses his lips to mine. He easily slides his tongue between them while deepening our embrace.*

Adar- *I feel weak to his gentle touch, as is evident by my hitched moan. I can't keep myself from snuggling closer. My pûr erupts again when I lay my head upon his shoulder*

Elrond-* He smiles down at me sincerely.* Look at me, glî-nîw nin ( my honeybee) . *He commands me in the most gentle tone.*

Adar- *I can't help but obey.*

Elrond- * With the same loving expression, he cups my face, then looks me in the eyes.* Adar, you are so beautiful.

Adar- *My heart pounds as I want so badly to believe him. I push that 'things' insults out of my head. I turn my head as tears begin to fall.* No... You're teasing me. It hurts... Please don't. *I shake my head.*

Elrond- *His tone is grounded, even as he turns my face to look into my eyes.* No, darling, you are. You truly are. Every bit of you is positively gorgeous. Don't ever question that.

Adar-* I can't say a word, but my tears fall harder. Next, I lean forward, clinging to him as hard as possible. My head is pressed to his shoulder*

Elrond-* He leans down to lie with me in the grass. His voice is as soft as birds fly.* Well done, miue nin (my kitten), let it all out.

Adar- *I can only nod in response. My exhaustion from my emotional outburst and long days with little rest caught up to me. I soon find myself dozing off in his arms*

Elrond- *He shifts to kiss the top of my head.* Îdh mae glî-nîw nin (Rest well, my honeybee). Melin gin (I love you).

There is not shit to celebrate when millions of people, children included, are going to lose basic human rights. There is nothing to celebrate when ICE is actively kidnapping legal citizens. There is nothing to celebrate when a woman, a DECEASED woman, was still forced to carry a fetus and then they cut it from her DECOMPOSING BODY.

The 🍊 is on a power trip. If you do celebrate today and it's for the right reasons, those reasons being one day that this country won't be run by old white men who don't give a damn about anyone but themselves and the people who look like them, I hope you have a wonderful day surrounded by the people you love and who love you.

If you're celebrating because you are actively choosing to ignore the things that are happening because it isn't effecting you, YET. I really hope you don't think that just because you voted for T, that you're exempt from his bullshit, then I hope you have the day you deserve.
