Look, if things were as innocent as you are saying I really wouldn't bother caring. But I know they weren't. I don't want to bring out screenshots because honestly, I don't wish to condemn anyone, nor display anyone. I just want people to pay attention for your own safety, which you guys clearly didn't. Or still don't. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't spot such situations, as I know that you are rather young. It's fine.

Don't confuse shipping with activism. Exploring a relationship dynamic in a myriad of ways has been something humanity has done since, like, forever, no matter the nature of relationships. Are people that wrote stories of Oedipus, Lolita, Carrie some demons one must avoid? No, they are respected writers that chose to explore such relationships for various reasons. Person exploring a relationship between a child and abusive mother doesn't indicate in any way a person was ever abused or is abusive. Person exploring a story of a soldier that murdered thousands of people doesn't mean a person has done something vile (and I'm looking here at Madara). Literally anyone can write a story about genuinely fucked up things, and it won't indicate what kind of person they are, ever.

Me, exploring messed up dynamics doesn't make me in any way a person that would harm irl people - but nowadays people do think so, because it involves sex and taboo. People don't bat an eye at murder, why is killing an other human being shrugged at in fiction while having a ship involving incest suddenly makes people scream and gasp? Irl, killing the other person is a horrific, terrifying crime, while incest can happen between two consenting adults with no desire for children, which harms literally no-one. But one of those carry an element of taboo stronger than other. That's the only reason why you're so outraged.

Let me say this again. Shipping isn't activism, and your tastes do not ever indicate what kind of person you are in real life.

Also: who told you to go check out my ships? Yes, I ship them, and yes, I know not everyone are into them, it's fine I and I can understand it. People like different things and have different tastes in fiction and it's ok! I tagged things for people if they felt disturbed. But. If indeed you cared about anyone's safety, you would come over and ask me to tag them for you - but I know that you never interacted with my blog and my art before. You just came here to be angry and scandalized.

Also, if I may, I have a lot of "normal" ships that involve two adults and yet I like to explore all sorts of messed up angles. Some of those ships are really popular and I wonder, honestly, why are you so bothered by them too. One of first anons criticized me for shipping two adults too, so... We both know the only reason why you went this angle is because I offered it to you myself.

Also, "not a friendly relationship" is one way to describe "one killed the other as a child" but off I go I guess

Look, TLDR, fiction is not reality, your tastes irl never indicate what kind of person you are, you make your own safe space, shipping is not activism. Simplest lessons one learns over longest time in fandom. I would like to invite you to search my blog for posts, I dont have a tag but slamming into search "antis" or "purity" (from purity culture) or any of buzzphrases you are using should bring up posts in which more educated people explain better what I just said. I can even link you, if you wish.

Anyway, deepest apologies for this mess. I don’t think I will receive any more messages from those guys as they won’t ever come and tell me straight into my face what they consider sick and vile in me. Of course not.

The situation of where, I suspect, all the anons come from was explained in one of the answers. I shall expand a bit on this situation. 

Admittedly, all I was involved in was being yelled at because I requested posting sources for arts. It’s a very big subject to me, you see.

You see, the discord described within was made after people got tired of tumblr chat. Very quickly it became, for lack of better phrasing, a horny mess. Nothing wrong about that. Nothing wrong about underage people sharing their experiences in sexual area. 

What was dangerous, though, was the way adults encouraged underage people to do so. And, even more disturbingly, in one breath they do so while in the other they condemn people shipping minors. Chat didn’t care about division between nsfw and general chats. Literally one person (a minor) said to other asking about this: “you didn’t care that I was on nsfw yesterday”.

This, is a perfect ground for all sorts of predators. 

Also, it broke Discord rules about allowing minors into nsfw chats.

I reported it, but I am not sure how things will proceed. As tumblr group chats are here, I just want to warn all of you what kind of mess can be a result of such. Please, stay careful my friends.
